    My KDF Recruit is missing the warp-in animation when entering a system

    This is a strange one. All of a sudden when entering a star system, my KDF recruit has no ship sound or visual in the animation. Just a camera swinging around the area.

    I am flying the recruit BoP refit.
    My other characters don't seem to have the issue.

    Anyone else experience this? Thanks.

    So I noticed something during the Anniversary event this year. Of all the mainline canon characters to get a voice, Q isn't one of them. Or Q Jr., whichever one this one is. Actually there's a thought. Maybe for Dads-n-Grads season this May, get both de Lancie's for something special. The event reward is a talking holo-portrait or something. Like the Golden Knowledge lobi store device. Slot it, and click on it to have Q say something Cave Johnson-ish. Because isn't that what we all need a little more of in our short, tedious, mortal lives?

    My Nausicaan pirate flies the M'Chla Pilot BOP (legitimate salvage? sure)...LOVE how it performs, but never liked the Disco design. The refit skin from the recruit ship makes it so much better (plus the Fek'Ihri Vanity Shield).

    TL;DR, run the first wave of the ViL mission "Home" repeatedly.

    This post is dedicated to u/Perrin42 and their wonderful guide on how to farm the melee achievement.

    Killing 2500 ships is easy. Killing 2500 ships while damaging them during the pathetic 5-second cloak ambush duration is not.

    I was wondering where you could find enemies that are:

    • Weak

    • Clumped

    • Come in great numbers

    My first thought was to hit the "structural points" on the Breach TFO, but I wasn't sure if those counted as kills, and the mission (and it's cooldown) took too long overall.

    Then I remembered the Hur'q exist. They come in large batches, are easy to kill, and are clumped up. This means that when a swarm of them spawns, you can decloak and easily hit most, if not the whole swarm with an AoE attack like Gravity Well. And they come in convenient waves on the ViL mission "Home."

    With this AoE attack, you'll be able to several enemies while in the Cloak Ambush period. By running the first part of "Home" 6 times, I was able to hit "500" kills milestone. This took me about 20 minutes.

    To reiterate what to do:

    1. Start "Home"

    2. Cloak, fly to the first enemy group.

    3. Decloak, drop a Gravity Well or AoE attack of your choice into the first swarm.

    4. Destroy the swarm, cloak again, move to Odo's ship.

    5. Decloak, drop another AoE attack.

    6. After defeating the wave, cloak, then immediately decloak and drop another AoE attack on the incoming wave.

    7. Repeat for the next 2 waves of Hur'q.

    8. Don't answer Odo's hail, leave the system.

    9. Start "Home" again.

    Raider League - Assemble!

    Hello, trekkies of all sorts and kinds!

    I've stumbled across a great idea some time ago, so this isn't 100% mine.

    The raider league would imply both casual and hardcore users under a banner (ingame channel and/or discord).

    This does not require you to leave your fleets.

    The sole criteria would be to fly a raider (scout ships/frigates may apply) during our content pre-made runs.

    Mainly this is geared towards advanced content and provides fun with BoPs and other nimble, super fun raider ships (which the meta considers underpowered, but we all know they can pack a punch).

    Looking forward to assemble a base team or if there is an active raider league already, I'd love to join.

    PS: The anniversary ship is a raider, so I'm sure there's an easy to get raider for each of us.

    I really like the attitude of the bouncer at the entrance to Shangdu. Bored, sarcastic, just as happy to beat you up as to welcome you into the bar. But also knows when not to mess with you.

    My bridge needs a bouncer like that.

    Was The Option To Turn In Featured TFO Commendations Removed?

    I was able to do it a couple of months back, but with the current event there is no option to turn in the commendations.

    Has this been disabled, and if so, what are we supposed to do with the ones we saved for this purpose? O.o

    getting message "cannot change species of character"

    possible bug, PS4.

    trying to change the uniforms of my KDF crew on an Orion character.

    managed to change the uniforms to the winter environment coat (black) for all but two of my bridge officers - an Orion and a Gorn. wanted to take off all the shoulder and wrist gear and leave them purely in black winter environment coats - got as far as save - then it gave me a message that you can't change the species of a character. options?

    Hi @ll, i played this some years ago and learned recently that you can get high quality prints of your custom ship from the game. Now my buddy is in a dark place atm because all whats happening and i want to help him a little bit. He is a huge Fan of Star Trek TNG. Like myself he grew up with Capt. Picard and his Crew. I want to gift a printed Galaxy Class to him.

    I installed Sto yesterday through Steam and tried to get my hands on the Data chuckles that is needed to make a Print. It didnt start, 4/5 through the loading Screen i get a crash to desktop. Googled a bit. Reinstalled through Arc, same thing. It wont start.

    Reddit is a helpfull bunch, so i once again come here to ask for Help.

    Tldr: Can someone configure a "Capt. Picard Galaxy Class" for me and send the Data my way?
