    I don't have all the shields but I did my best. I got all the baseball shields, 11 T6 Rep shields without Disco and Gamma, 8 T5 rep shields, all mission shields, Fek'Ihri and S31 shield. Gotta say S31 is always the coolest. Hope you guys enjoy!

    As long as it comes equipped with [Console Universal] : Turn And Run. After taking one shot on shields, ship rotates 180 degrees and warps out.

    What is your most meaningful ship(or ships if >1 ship) since your start to play STO?

    Now we have 7 year anniversary of Risian Lohlunat Festival, a.k.a. Summer Event.

    Till then, we have run to the each year's event ship, at that time they were time-limited reward to earn. Although some of them are available through Phoenix Prize Pack, still some of them aren't.

    I reminded my hard effort not to miss the event ship. I have played STO since February 13, 2012, and still enjoying it.

    In my playtime, there have been many ships - some of them were retired -, and a handful of them have been meaningful to me.

    Here, I selected several ships that are very meaningful to myself. All of them are T6 unless specified.

    ​

    1. Escort field : Prometheus class U.S.S. Seulgi-Crossing Delta (NCC - 940210 - A). My first ship making my current personal record in ISE. She has 341K DPS record in ISE, currently my best, using torpedo boat build. Yes, she can use Multi-Vector Assault Mode. Named after a member in the K-pop idol group Red Velvet, as well as the collaborated music known as Crossing Delta! (t-pazolite x ginkiha x hommarju)
    2. Cruiser field : Two ships.Kelvin Constitution class U.S.S. Han Hye-yeong (NCC - 7742 - K): My first treasure. I earned it from Infinity lockbox. Kelvin Connie is even more beautiful with Platinum vanity shield, to me. Named after a South Korean Youtuber whose content is usually music cover.Nimrod class U.S.S. Jeong Jin-soul (NCC - 970613): My second treasure. I earned it from R&D Promo. I was so eager to acquire Nimrod-class, and it is so much fun! Named after a member in the K-pop idol group Loona(=similar to 'Luna', lmao).
    3. Science Vessel field : Legendary Intrepid class U.S.S. Lim Hyeon-ju (NCC - 921027 - C). I purchased 10 Year Legendary Standard Bundle for 19,500 Zen, and it is pretty worth. Inadvertently, I earned full Intrepid ship console set, and it is very fun, i.e. firing Photonic Shockwave Torpedo! Currently she is using almost-canon like build, similar to the U.S.S. Voyager in-game. Named after an active female South Korean actress.
    4. Romulan-related ship field : Khlinae class I.R.W. Dream Fighter. It was... painful to discard my former T5 Khnial-class(purchased for 203m), but I have no regret. T6 is better to me and she is spiritual successor of my Khnial-class. Named after a music piece, sung by Perfume, a J-pop group. You can listen to the music Dream Fighter in YouTube easily.
    5. Carrier field : Jupiter class U.S.S. Kim Hong-il (NCC - 12329). I like carrier, and as well as Jupiter-class. Named in honor of a famed South Korean general and veteran in Korean War, and independence fighter during 1930-1940s. Currently my Jupiter equips two copies of Elite Callisto-class Light Escort.

    Hi there !

    I'm a returning but new player (Main was lv17 three days ago).

    I just hit lv65 before the scheduled maintenance and i have several questions :

    • I'm going escort since lv45, full beams, mostly phaser. I can't tell why, but I think i'm going the wrong way while on escort, am I ?
    • Is it worth putting real money ? Are the Zen Storetm items useful/realy worth it ?
    • Haven't finished all of the missions, currently just after Dyson Sphere Arc, should i do them all ?
    • What are your daily routine ? (RND->DOFF->Admiralty->Reputation->STO mostly for me)
    • Should I keep Dilithium or spend a little per day to get (with lotta luck) a T6 ?

    It would be nice if we had the ability to craft a ship. Spending time earning the materials to create it but would cost a vast amount of crafting materials to gather and all obtainable through maps and crafting, and not locked behind a pay wall (unless you want to pay to rush the job). Make it to where you could customize the ship in terms of layout, size, style, and configuration. Instead of having a mastery package and specific ship bound console, give it an extra weapon slot and console slot. Your base stats could be based on how much success you have while crafting components (make crafted ship components have a sliding quality scale based on crafting performance). Seating could be based on your designated roll for that ship but not making it OP. Maybe even let us have our own dry dock in a system of our choosing with say 6 crafted ship slots that we can visit.

    This was just a random thought I had last night while messing around with configurations. It brought my mind back to the days of SWG and the crafting system. I know this will NEVER happen but it would sure be nice to be able to create our own stuff and give us something else to do besides endless TFOs.

    Leveling a TOS vs Starfleet Toon

    I started a Klingon Starfleet Toon today after maxing out my Andromedan TOS toon today and was going thru the tutorial with the Klingon and noticed when it was done I was only level 3 vs level 10 as the TOS toon. Tried looking into it but haven't found a clear answer.

    Does the TOS have a level advantage to the Vanilla Starfleet toon? I know the missions are scaled to your toon but with the exclusion of many Klingon war missions (I liked the time travel ones onboard the enterprise bummed it's gone) and how many missions were cut from what I remember starting one a long time ago, should I just keep making TOS toons or stick to my Klingon?

    TL;DR Is TOS better for early level advantage or is it irrelevant.

    Any chance that we will see return of the old starcluster exploration missions?

    A long, long time ago this game had an exploratory part to it in the form of the starcluster exploration missions.

    While not the most challenging or rewarding missions, they were what Star Trek is at its heart: exploring the unknown. Those missions were not about blowing up 200 iconian ships in a single TFO or stuff like that. Back then, you approached an unknown star system, warped in, made first contact and warped out again. Or you warped in, replicated some water purification systems for people in need and warped out again. But they had one huge thing going for them: immersion. They werent always about combat. Sometimes you just walked around on a world you havent been on before.

    Sadly, with the launch of season 9 back in 2014, the starcluster exploration missions were removed due to changes in the crafting system.

    Alongside new ship interiors, this is one of the biggest features I would like to see return to the game. Give STO some exploration again please.

    Is it worth spending Zen (Dilithium) on a ship at 50 or wait for rewards at 60/65?

    I know the games 10 years old now, and I just hit the old end game mark, but there's another 15 levels to go now, and I don't want to buy a new ship at 50 of netter ones are just going to be rewarded later on.

    I'm not even sure what sure tier my The ship I got at Rear Admiral, the one I'm still using. I wasn't sure what the ones are at Vice Admiral, and they have Tier 6 above that?

    Since its not costing real world money, (or the in game equivalent in Dilithium/Zen) I figured I should I should ask, at level 50 where should I be going here?

    Can't log on

    No it's not maintenance that's not supposed to start or another 4 hours or so. Loading character is super slow and once I to loading into game it just times out and takes me to login screen.

    Did a tracert and when I hit akamai the latency sky rockets, as in into the thousands or loses connection totally. How do I fix this? I really want to do my daily before maintenance as I won't have time tonight and they're cutting the even short this year.
