Risa Ship stats and such off yesterday's stream Posted: 23 Jul 2020 09:19 AM PDT I took several screen shots and made a handy album off of yesterday's steam. Also note we are getting new stuff in the Risa Event store this year. Here is the album [link] [comments]
Where do energy credits come from? Posted: 23 Jul 2020 07:57 AM PDT No, I'm not looking for a guide on how to make energy credits. I'm also not looking for the answer "sell things on the exchange." What I mean is, how is EC actually created? There's trillions of them flowing through the exchange every day, but as far as I can tell there's not actually any huge credit generation source as there is with dilithium. Of course, with dilithium there are sinks all over the place to keep it in balance (arguably not enough sinks these days given the high dil/zen exchange rate). Since there are no real EC sinks, it seems like the answer is that they have been generated in relatively small amounts over the course of the game's life and never really left the economy. This is actually easily provable just by comparing exchange prices today to prices in the distant past- master keys were around 1M when introduced, now they're worth in excess of 6M. It makes me wonder what would happen if an EC sink was introduced. [link] [comments]

PM me and first one will get it. Edit: Key is gone now [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Jul 2020 09:33 AM PDT Hey all just after a bit of defiant advice I currently have the Terran dual heavy, nausicaan phaser and torps and a dual dis cannon on front aft I have the bio molecular dis turret and 2 normal dis turrets x4 dmg I'm looking to get the Martok 2 set of the engineering console to replace the torpedo universal console you get with the defiant and swap out one of the normal turrets for the Mortok 360 dis beam for the 2 piece set bonus would my deeps be worse or better with a beam weapon over a turret do you know my crit chance would go up and the shields and hull buff would be nice but I don't want to lose dps by doing this? Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Jul 2020 10:00 AM PDT But if Cryptic acknowledges they boned up the extra event reward Dil, wouldn't have been at least decent of them to give us a Dil weekend? Hell I would've taken an upgrade weekend, but a Dil weekend would've let me make up the difference lost at the very least. To have nothing? I dunno, man. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Jul 2020 09:59 AM PDT i was looking at the new mudds deal and it looks like you can get 150 keys for, normally, over $200? isnt that more than if you bought them by the 10? [link] [comments]
Returning player, lost and confused. Posted: 23 Jul 2020 09:52 AM PDT I've just returned to the game after around five years away and I can't remember anything about the intricacies of how it works or why my ship was set up the way it was etc. I imagine a fair amount has changed anyway. I've started a new toon for the tutorial but was hoping you lovely lot might know of some resources I can pick up for a refresher? Youtube obviously, but most of the content I can find is dated. Posted: 23 Jul 2020 02:42 AM PDT Running into a weird problem where keybinding in this game does not appear to save properly. This is in ground combat. I can't even open menus when it initially puts me on the ground. To clarify, this is the sequence of events I need to do for anything to work. In order to open the menu, I have to hit B to enter RPG mode, then once again to enter shooter mode, then once *again* to enter RPG mode, again. Then I can hit ESC to access the menu. In order to fight back, I have to open the menu, open the keybindings tab, select RPG keybindings (which is already selected, nice and confusing there), then select shooter keybindings, then exit the menu. You can probably imagine how that works out every time the game drops you straight into combat. Real fun. I don't even have complicated keybindings. I just want to autorun with R and have my first five attacks on various mouse buttons. The game is very much capable of this, when it wants to be. The rest of the time I get to do the special dance detailed above. This is really, really horrible. It's not once per login, it's several times per ground mission. This issue has persisted across multiple PCs. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jul 2020 06:26 PM PDT The Kelvin timeline and Lower decks both have Orions as starfleet members, eventually they might be added to the game in a similar vein to fed klingons. [link] [comments] |
