Posted: 03 May 2020 09:29 AM PDT To be clear, I'm talking about being at DS9, not in Sector Space. Sector Space is the only way to actually take the wormhole, despite the fact that the wormhole exists as a physical object at DS9, not just part of the background. It's reachable within the system boundaries. You can fly your ship straight into the mouth of the wormhole and you just... come out the back. There's not even a "take the wormhole to the gamma quadrant" interaction option. This seems like a very easily fixable thing that should definitely be in the game. Why bother making the wormhole reachable if you're not gonna let people actually use it? [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 May 2020 11:46 PM PDT So I go to visit the Ambassador in ESD. I try to buy an Exchange officer BOFF It says I don't have room for that even though I have three spaces for Boffs. I wonder what's up with that? [link] [comments]
Jem'Hadar Vanguard Warship or Jem'Hadar Vanguard Temporal Warship? Posted: 03 May 2020 04:17 AM PDT Hi there, this is my first post on reddit and english is not my natural tongue^^ I´m thinking about to buy one of those two ships in the ZEN store. The Character toon is a technical officer of the romulan republic. The race is Alien. The thing is, both ships seem to be very interesting, but I have the money to buy only one of them. Buildwise it will go in the direction of beams probably, but I´m not totally set on it. My thoughts on the ships so far: Vanguard Temporal Warship Pros: - Little speedy ship with Wingmans - Cool console ablility (the bombardment) - would probably make more sense in the context of the character playing (lore-wise) Cons: - very squishy as far as I heard - I already have the Ourobourus temporal ship Vanguard Warship Pros: - Versatile as far as it seems - more durable then the temporal warship Cons: - Slower then the temporal one (although not as slow as a Khopesh) Some background information on the character (lore wise). The character was created as a defect Vorta clone (basically prototype), which joined the republic. On the Dominion side she answers to Odo. The Dominion offers her a Dominion ship to support the relations between the Dominion and the Republic. That´s the sum-up of it. The thing is, I really can´t decide between the two. I like to play more agile ships like the Advanced Escort (Prometheus fleet variant) of the Federation, the Bajoran Interceptor and ships like that, which would lean more towards the Temporal Warship. What I really don´t like is a lumbering ship like the Khopesh of the romulan republic. Don´t get me wrong, the Khopesh is awesome, but if you´re used to fast ships it feels like a full break in speed if you get what I mean xD Thanks for reading this, I would appreciate if you participate in the decision finding :) Best regards :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 May 2020 05:32 AM PDT Just got a recent characters resilient ship shields to Epic, and i re-engineered the stats to... ResAll x2 So this gives me 20% reduced all energy damage, reduces Plasma and AntiProton damage by 20% each and bumps up the shield regen, my question is, exactly how effective, if at all is all the energy resists i slapped on, should i keep them or re-engineer them all to Regen? Posted: 03 May 2020 09:37 AM PDT Now that the winter event is coming to a close I have to buy out the remainder to get the ship. Is the best way to buy master keys and open lockboxes or is there a smarter way? [link] [comments]
Suggestions on Fed ships for best balanced playstyle Posted: 03 May 2020 09:22 AM PDT Right now I have two ships I play with on beams. A legendary odyssey with plasma and a Vengeance with phasers. While I like the survivability of the dreadnoughts, I find them a little too cumbersome to maneuver. Anyone have any suggestions for ships that can still pack a bunch, aren't glass and can give me a little more of what I want? Tactical captain [link] [comments]
FYI: if you have never played KDF, you may want to do so soon Posted: 02 May 2020 12:39 PM PDT Some will recall how a number of Fed missions were supposedly removed to be remastered and added back later, but never were. The same thing may very well happen with some of the KDF episodes. So if anyone has never played the KDF side and wants to play the missions that currently exist, you might want to do it soon. For what it's worth, the first arc involving Worf and (spoiler) is excellent. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 May 2020 10:50 PM PDT I should be up to 14K Dil earned now, yet for the third day in a row I received 8375 dilithium for my event reward. Not sure what's going on but it looks like it hasn't been fixed. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2020 02:09 AM PDT What ship would you guys recommend? I've already got the fleet Gagarin but I'm debating to get the Vengeance with the event campaign as you can get 1k Lobi crystals. My only reason of wanting it is the fact that it looks bad ass! My reason of holding back getting it is losing out on an extra console and some hull HP. Is it worth it to get the Vengeance or shall I just stick with the Gagarin? [link] [comments]
PC PSA Can't find something or something missing the C Store Posted: 02 May 2020 10:52 AM PDT I have seen many posts recently of people not being able to find something in the C store. So here is a friendly reminder that in the C store some of the tabs on the left also have tabs up top, so if you aren't seeing what you are looking for make sure to check to see if you forgot to check the top tabs as well. This includes but not limited to Muds market and personnel for character species purchases. They are easy to miss if you don't realize they are there. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 May 2020 04:52 AM PDT With regards to how short and stubby the WiP model is in comparison to the concept art will Cryptics guys be correcting that or leaving it short and fat? Also i have to ask as i feel this change would help alot with the complainers. Right now alot of criticism is directed to the ship having "legs" however i assumed these were just sail attachments like the old Risian Cruiser had. So can we have some words from ye olde Devs? Are these just random legs or are they mounts for solar sails? What about you guys do you have any questions about the design that arn't about the vote? [link] [comments] |
