    What are the odds of getting the Freedom-Class with the R&D box?

    Hi, decently inexperienced player here. I saw the post about the promotion starting April 9th for the R&D pack that might get you the Special Req Choice Pack-Tier 6 Promotional Ship Choice Pack that looks like it can be used to get the Freedom-Class.

    I've been wanting a Freedom-Class, I know it's not the best but I love the way it looks. I was thinking about buying a few packs, but if the chance of getting the requisition is so low, I don't want to spend loads of money just trying to get one ship. Does anyone know the odds of me getting the req if I open, say, four boxes?

    Elite Starter packs: Why are these bound to characters?

    So, I purchased the Federation Elite Starter pack on the wrong character (all of my characters use the same ships, I thought I was on the correct one).

    "No big deal" I thought, as I have 10 account bank slots, I'll just move it to the correct one. NOPE -- after purchase they come in one big box that is "bound to character". After opening the one big box, I get 8 smaller boxes that are all, also, bound to character.

    Ground weapons, XP boosters, inventory slots, the Borg BOFF, etc -- all of it is still "bound to character" at this point.

    I contact support and they say "due to technical limitations we cannot add or remove items from player accounts" (honestly, sounds like BS as many other MMOs do this, and they'd have to do this in the case of C.C. fraud, but ... w/e).

    So... before I submit a suggestion on the official forums to change these from being "character bound" to "account bound" (at least when it comes to things that make no sense to be character bound, like the XP boosters or inventory slot expanders), I wanted to see if anyone thinks these should remain character bound -- and if so why.

    Can't Sign Up for Task Forces

    So one of my characters is bugged. Yesterday I signed up for a random Task Force. The Swarm loaded up, and immediately I got a message that I was not on a team and got booted from the mission. Since then I have not been able to sign up for a Task Force. It says one is queued, and everything is greyed out. I've tried switching characters, and shutting down the game. Still have the problem.

    How to team with a buddy?

    So, as of recently I've been trying to get back into STO. (I used to play a very long time ago... ) I also got a buddy to install the game.

    We've been trying to figure out how to team together and ran into some snags. As I was just wrapping up Measure of Morality P2, my buddy was waiting for me between encounters 2 & 3 of Part 1. Once I finished, we formed a team and he shared his mission with me, but that threw me back to the beginning of MoM P1.

    Is this expected behavior due to the nature of this particular mission? How do friends actually team up and run missions together? Can we EVEN run ground missions together or only space mission?

    Hey guys! I have been playing Star Trek Online since april or may if 2013 (Shortly after Legacy of Romulus). The game quickly became my favourite game of all time and i have probably over all platforms had 6-9 months of in game time. But that unfortunately is the problem.... while the game is still my favourite i have found that i'm getting bored while playing, and I don't know what to do. I have multiple toons across all the factions and have played all the missions so often that i just can't get into the story like i used to. I have watched videos and tried to force myself to play to supplement my craving for playing the game but when i open the game and log on i find myself just running around DS9 for awhile trying to find an objective for myself. But i only last about 10 minutes the log off still having that craving to play but can't play. I was wondering what i could do in the game to regain that spark of interest in this wonderful game that we all love :) Thanks for any help TL:DR i dont know what to do in the game and want suggestions

    Am I the only one that found that bug ? I have every skill almost instant recharged.

    I achieved that by using Mudd's Time Device on the Hur'q Dreadnought during "Home" mission, and the effect carried over other instances except Bridge, but STF did work.

    I'm a perma-motivation-rally-cry machine now.

    Since they made the phoenix box permanent, all I use it for is the upgrades and the occasional grab of doffs if I get the appropriate token. I've never ever got an epic token since starting playing at launch and I always have the mindset that all I want is upgrades that way I'm not disappointed. Do you think that adding it as a permanent fixture was a good idea?

    Random noob questions

    Brand new to this. Game is terrible at explaining how this massive complicated thing works. After tutorial, I received a random mission request for "beneath the skin". Whats up with these type of missions? How/when do they pop up? When should I play these? Can other players join? Thanks!

    Question on Upgrading Reputation

    Hey, I currently have 6000 rep Temporal task force but there are no more "projects" to complete. There is one left for 100 marks to give me some item but I don't think that is a necessary one. How do I level up my reputation so I can get more projects? I have more than enough marks. I can't seem to find the upgrade project. I click on the status icon and it says "upgrade available" but I can't find the button to actually do that. I looked on the wiki and apparently it only costs 5 marks or something. Does anybody understand this better than I do? Thanks
