Exclusive to the Xbox was the Khan outfit, and the PS4 got the Starfleet uniform. Now the PS4/PC has the Khan and Starfleet while Xbox only has it's Khan. It's time to give the Xbox those Starfleet uniforms!

    Spectres story arc?

    Posted: 14 Mar 2021 05:45 AM PDT

My fellow captains. I have (as Federation Starfleet, in the standard 25th century) played through the Klingon story arc and the Romulan story arc, and only then did I find the "Galaxy at Large" side missions in my journal. I am currently level 32 and playing the Nimbus arc, but I notice in the game wiki there should also be a "Spectres" arc, taking place at Drozana station. However, I can find no such missions. It doesn't show up in my journal, Quinn has nothing to say, and nothing seemed to happen when I visited Drozana a while back. Am I missing something? Has the arc been removed recently, or are there some new requirements (i.e. am I now supposed to get to this arc much later in the game), or do I need to do something to get it to show up?

Idea: Unlockable faction emblems for ships

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 02:55 PM PST

Something I feel is very under utilized is the 'badge' option for ships. There are a few ships in the game that have more than two logo options right now, but I feel that could be expanded.

Rather than just having either Starfleet/KDF or fleet emblems, why not have additional options unlocked through story missions, reputation unlocks, or events, and of course the much requested 'no emblem' option.

    For example:

Completion of the Romulan Republic rep would unlock the Romulan Republic and Tal Shiar emblems for use on all ships.

Completion of the story mission "The Center Cannot Hold" would unlock the Khitomer Alliance emblem for all ships.

Completion of the 'Nanoprobe Immunity' kill accolade would unlock the Borg emblem for all ships.

    Thoughts?

    Weapon Mixing

    Posted: 14 Mar 2021 03:49 AM PDT

I am still early on in the game but wondering as Fed should I just go all Phaser and broadside or is it viable to mix Phaser and torpedos? I do like the extra umph from a Boff upgraded torpedo volley but wondering if full phaser beams would be better.

ENT Turns 20: My Theoretical Enterprise Era Super Bundle

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 02:06 PM PST

It's the weekend again, where I start spit-balling STO ideas in moments of boredom. With so much love here for Enterprise posts, I dreamt up a bundle I thought could rival the giant Victory Is Life/Dominion bundle from a couple years ago. Thanks for indulging me and interested to hear if you would buy such a bundle and what for price?

Here's my proposed "22nd Century Mega Bundle":

    Mirror NX Command Cruiser (T6)

    • This gets the gorgeous Mirror Universe paintjob) from "In a Mirror, Darkly" into STO. I also don't think you can have an Enterprise bundle without an NX, even though there are 2 versions.
    • Mastery Trait: "Straight and steady" -- Archer's famous quote provides a large boost to accuracy and damage when using evasive maneuvers or emergency power to engines.

United Earth Intrepid) miracle worker light cruiser (T6)

    • Such a cool design seen in "The Expanse" and "Twilight," it pre-dates the NX cruiser.

United Earth Warp Delta pilot interceptor (T6)

    • Since Starfleet doesn't do raiders or warships, this could be a speedy Fed version with 5/1 weapons.

Vulcan Suurok Class intel science vessel (T6)

    • The often seen Vulcan "combat cruiser" would be a great upgrade from the T5 D'Kyr

    32nd Century Vulcan Dreadnought Carrier (T6) -- "T'Pol class?"

    • This is the future ship with 3 rings) seen in Daniels' records from "Future Tense" which the display calls "RetroFitted Dorsal Carrier, Design XRT-55D, Commission Date 3125."

    Klingon D5 temporal battlecruiser (T6)

    Orion Interceptor (T6)

    • Seen in "Borderland" in Season 4, they are about the size of Enterprise and would give Orions a less bulky looking ship that's fast and agile.

    22nd Century Shuttlepod (small craft)

HOLO Charles Tucker III - miracle worker/eng BOFF

    HOLO T'Pol - temporal/sci BOFF

    HOLO Shran - intel/tac BOFF

Outfit - 22c. Andorian Imperial Guard

EV Suit - 22c. Starfleet space suit

What do you all think? Happy anniversary Enterprise!

Z Store Ship Question for OGs

    Posted: 14 Mar 2021 08:16 AM PDT

What is the best ship for a fed science officer?

Im really digging the Cardassaian intel science dreadnought. It has some nice perks and abilities even if Hull strength is a bit low. And looks cool enough.

Just curious if people are using it and how it works for them. I have maxed my kdf officer and am now going to start my Fed officer. And would like a better ship than the bird of prey I've been rocking. Although it has served me well. Bless it's little heart.

Seeing how this game obviously has mad replay ability and TONS to work towards. Yay goals. Love games that give you goals. I have no issue dropping money on it. Already bought a few outfit and starter packs. Now I need a badass ship lol.

    I currently have 3500 Zen

Any and all advice is appreciated. Other suggestions on ships also welcome.

Fyi been playing a week. So still learning everything. SO much to learn like being in school again. Lol gotta love it.

Follow up. Which Starfleet is the best to start with? I'm assuming the first one as it is the farthest back in date... But assumptions ain't always correct...

Thank you and have a nice day.

Any way to get a free Zen store ship without grinding for a year or spending €30?

    Posted: 14 Mar 2021 09:15 AM PDT

I want to get the T6 Recon destroyer(3,000 Z) and the T5 Advances escort(2,500 Z) and was wondering if I could get either for free by doing an event or something else. Thank you!

    Wing man Mechanic.

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 05:22 PM PST

A little while ago I saw a post about someone suggesting the wing man mechanic got put in the Cstore like the X ship upgrades.

And it sort of got me thinking. If this ever happened. Wouldn't it be cool if you could purchase different wing men. Through say the Dilithium store or something.

The ships could have different load outs to make them different. But still use the same basic wing man orders.

For example the ships could include.

Fed: Defiant/ Miranda/ Sabre. Kdf: Bird of Prey/ Orion Corvette/ Nausicaan Raider. Rom: T'liss/ Dhelan/ Suliban cell ship. Jem: Fighter/ Recon Ship.

    Alliance: Temer Raider.

    Zhat Vash armor question

    Posted: 14 Mar 2021 03:59 AM PDT

With adaptive cushioning in mind how useful is it? How often do enemies use physical or kinetic damage? and finally is there a way to apply physical/kinetic damage to yourself if enemies are not? Or is this just a really really niche armor that is almost always not going to have a useful ability?

Does Diplomatic Immunity make your target go faster?

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 08:56 PM PST

I understand the sector block stuff no longer applies but if I grant it to someone do they go faster?

If so is there any way to obtain that speed boost myself other than asking someone else to grant it to me?
