    Maybe somewhere between J'Ula and the Picard arc that is probably coming? We worked tirelessly to save teh galaxy, maybe some time to some self-care? We could have a chance to replay historic battles/missions, do some Captain Proton/Dixon Hill stuff? It could be added over time, with no overarching plot. Maybe even added as patrols. Just an idea

    Patrol Missions, Ranked by Convenience

    For me, the primary source of enjoyment of this game comes from the storylines and characters. Grinding out marks and EC is ancillary, but I thought a short guide might help people decide which patrol missions they want to focus on when they need a few marks and don't feel like doing TFOs.

    Each Patrol mission takes about 5-10 minutes, grants 22 marks, and you generally leave with around 5+ salvageable items.

    Patrols are accessed via the Mission Journal by hitting "PvE", and then the "Patrols" tab.

    These rankings are completely subjective -- your mileage may vary. My criteria for a "convenient" patrol are speed, simplicity, lack of danger, and lack of annoyance.

    Patrol Name Convenience Description
    Wanted 10 Quick, easy. Destroy some Kazon ships, which don't present much threat.
    Ninth Rule 9 several fights vs random enemies, last one is a big group. Madran has some funny lines while you tow him.
    Sentinels 9 About 6 fights with small groups of Elachi, whose ships are apparently made of wet cardboard.
    Tempting Targets 8 3 escort tasks with 1 fight each, small fight at end. Quick and easy.
    Unity 7 Huge fight at end. Buff up before scanning.
    Rescue and Search 7 Scan some stuff, fight some stuff. Big battle at end vs Klingons.
    Preying Upon the Weak 6 Tons of Vaadwaur, big fight, solar flares kill shields periodically
    Ruins of Doom 6 Lots of fighting Klingons but you can die easy (periodic satellite discharges hurt and disorient)
    Blockade Runner 6 Artillery targets you constantly, some damage resistant Vaadwaur, but it's reasonably quick.
    Satellite Defense 5 Set up 15 satellites, then satellites do most of the fighting. A little tedious but not terrible.
    Aftermath 3 Lots of Voth ships with super-annoying invulnerability shields.
    Gone Dark 3 lots of scanning, annoying fights
    Within the Briars 2 Love scanning things and being hit by environmental hazards that constantly respawn? This mission is for you!

    Given the number of Liberated Borg / xBs around, it seems a little cruel to gun down Borg at every opportunity. In the same way we can now assimilate people and ships into drones to help us, it would be awesome to have some mechanic or device vs Borg that allows us to sever their link to the collective to either take them out of combat (instead of killing them) or have them switch sides and aid us in combat. It would be niche, so probably not something that takes up a slot, and gunning them down would still be an option, but there ought to be greater rewards for liberating drones than killing them. After all, WW7D?

    How can I check my overall contribution to the fleet on console? So far it seems I have to scroll through the leaderboards of each fleet holding and add up my contributions which is highly tedious...

    Event/Promotional STO Emails? Don't seem to get them any more.

    I used to get lots of STO emails, from notices about upcoming events to the occasional special offer, complementary boff or whatnot.

    I've realized I haven't received anything (but receipts for the occasional zen purchase) from Cryptic about STO in ages, maybe a year or possibly even longer than that. So, quick question... are any of you still getting routine promotional emails from Cryptic about the game? I'm a bit concerned I may be missing announcements, especially of things like the Extra Life bundles, etc.

    (I do check spam folder regularly enough that I'd have caught them in there, so I don't think that's it.)

    I was just wondering if anyone else really wished the Talaxian life time sub race was added to the Romulan faction. I like the idea of a Talaxian refugee teaming up with the similarly displaced Romulans. I know the race isn't the most popular but I quite like them and would love to see them added to the Romulan faction. :)
