| QoL Suggestion: Add "(23c)" and "(Dsc)" To Ship Gear Variant Names Posted: 01 Apr 2020 05:30 PM PDT Fun fact for those unaware; not only do unique weapons variants for standard phaser, disruptor, and plasma starship equipment, featuring icons/visuals matching the eras of TOS and Discovery, exist in their relevant mission drops/tutorial time zones, but for TOS they also exist for the (relatively) standard starship gear of deflectors, warp cores, shields and the like. They're a cute little bonus if you're running the relevant missions, and unsurprisingly they can be worth a pretty penny on the Exchange... if you can find them. Because these variant items utilize similar names to the modern gear items, they can be tricky to track down on the Exchange without one-by-one scrolling through the item lists. For the convenience of both buyers and sellers, might it be easier to share/trade this gear by way of adding tags like "(23c)" and "(Dsc)" onto all of them? It's a method the wiki uses, for what its worth, and I think it wouldn't be a bad idea since it's a standard that does exist in some items (like the Lobi Disco phaser rifle). [link] [comments] | ||
