    Got the Legendary pack as an early birthday present, but my wife is dissatisfied.

    My wife splurged and got me the Legendary Pack as an early birthday present. Needless to say, I was thrilled. After I got some of them set up, I was showing her all of my characters and their various ships. As I was scrolling past my Borg captain and his Plesh Brek, she stopped me and said, "Why is he in a Breen ship? Why doesn't he have a Cube?"

    "There aren't any playable Cubes."

    She scrunched up her face. "For $200 you should have gotten a Cube."

    You heard it here first, Cryptic: My wife demands a playable Cube.

    So...just got through Delta Rising with my Romulan and decided to poke around in the tailor some more for my kobali boff and decided to look at some of the others as well - and discovered schizophrenic madness.

    Some of my Romulan boffs have Romulan only presets and uniforms available, some have additional (clearly) Romulan-only presets and uniforms (not counting the Reman-specific stuff here), and some have not only the full Romulan uniform set, but also the full Federation uniform set.

    Meanwhile, my female Romulan captain has the least options of all!

    Am I the only one that sees a problem here?

    Hi,

    so, with like everyone seeming to be able to deal damage in a way that effectively kills even the captial enemies in the space battlezones, would anyone agree that it's about time there would be time for advanced and elite battlezones with at least more challenging NPCs to shoot down with a then of course better payout?

    The Borg lockbox, the anniversary ship and the legacy pack have apparently shifted once again the DPS output to new highs if even the capital ships melt away in a matter of about or less than ten seconds... I mean, you don't really have to measure the DPS if everyone can see it when the Voth Citadell ships blow up on the count of three.

    PS4, the worst platform to play STO. All because of Cryptic

    So we got this:

    Everyone else got BETTER Zen store sale plus Zen sale at the SAME time. And we got this 15% crap. I'm not getting legendary bundle because I just can't support this kind of bad treatment of consumers, but I'm guessing that Zen sale helped PC players to "swallow" hundreds of [enter your currency unit here] legendary pack. If I understood correctly, the legendary pack is coming after this sale so we don't even get the additional 15% off from it. The "normal" price is so ridiculous that when the initial discount wears off you need to be real rich or desperate to buy it.

    I'm just super angry that Sony and Cryptic problems are our problems. I have so much unlocked and bought that it's too late to change platform and I hate the PC interface anyway.

    I recently installed STO on Ubuntu Mate with PlayonLinux. After a few hiccups it plays pretty well, albeit on medium gfx settings for land areas. Just wondered if anyone else has played it much on Linux. I'm a new player to the game so only seen a small amount of content, the space parts play on max settings without a hitch. Running around space dock is an FPS nightmare however. Anyone got any tips for performance etc for Linux?

    i expect some fallback from this but i see post after post recently about people expecting them to change the game to make it easier to obtain difficult items like phoenix ships, lockbox items, free admiralty dil etc....

    people need to remember

    ​

    1. the game is free 2 play. this means it cost nothing to obtain and play it.
    2. Because of this the game will only stay running if people spend a little money every now and again to pay peoples salaries and get actors to voice and hopefully at some point feed the hamsters keeping the servers from imploding by a 1000 rubberbands lol
    3. when you spend money its not like you receive nothing. you can get decent items like zen ships and items from lockboxes, trade it for dil and for a chance at some phoenix stuff etc...

    but you see people constantly making a point that things are difficult to obtain but if they made it too easy wouldn't this make the game boring?

    There are so many people who play the game that are soooo anti social.. this is an MMORPG. it is designed to be played with other people at the core. if they make changes that make it so you have to be more sociable in game like earning the dil from doing rtfo's rather than farming by yourself or doing endeavours which require multiplayer access to achieve it then don't start moaning.

    The dil exchange was almost up to its maximum a month or so ago and people were moaning. they made a few changes that people were displeased of but at the moment the dil exchange level has dropped by more than 10%

    The promo pack ships are designed to be hard to obtain hence why you get ships such as the universe class or the vaadwaur Juggernaut. if they made it so everyone could easily obtain them it goes to my original question again... whats the point..

    the phoenix packs are more of a curse then a blessing. i love them but having them all the time has killed the exchange for upgraded items which i used to craft and sell a lot of. but people are not happy because the ships are not account unlocks or that they cost too much dil etc..

    at the end of the day i could go on forever but i just wish people would stop for 3 seconds before they post on reddit about the "free game" they play doesnt do eveything they want it to do for them...

    Cryptic are not out to screw everyone but they need to be able to make a profit to be able to keep the game going. they cant depend on a handful of "Whale" Players keeping it going while everybody else just sits and moans saying its not fair..

    Are Spread and High Yield effectively the same thing against a single target? I know on some torpedoes (Ticobalt, Kentari Missiles, Lukari, 8472) High Yield unleashes a special projectile, but for everything else are you just launching a High Yield at one or multiple targets, depending on what's in your fire arc, whenever you hit Spread?

    to buy cheap zen from turkey? as i succesfuly got 8280 but 7 days bound account items? can someone help me? why the items are bounded? and can i sell them later?

    updatE: if somoene use this way is better to find some turk or russian friend cus price for turkish and russian players is very very cheap!

    so better is to tell my turk friend to buy zen for himself then to trade me items! Its legal way cuz he is turkish citizen and he lives in turkey!

    Im about to start the anniversary event on console and I've been wondering. What type of registry does it have (I.E. U.S.S. Alliance NCC-99674) or is it something new to show that it is an Alliance ship?
