    Welcome to the weekend!!

    A Let's kick it off with another weekend "anything goes" thread.

    On the weekends, we've been replacing the weekly question thread with a general Star Trek discussion thread. I love everyone's focus and commitment to keep talking about STO and by all means, continue to do so here.

    But also know, you can use this as your outlet for everything Star Trek.

    A few points of note:

    • In this thread, and this thread only, most of Rule 2 is suspended. Posted personal information is still not allowed at anytime within this community.

    • All other rules remain in place and will be enforced.

    • Weedendly is a word because I say it's a word.

    As much as I love Drexler's NX-01 refit...this makes more sense to me as a progression to 1701...wish we had it in-game

    So, Summer 2021 - Risan Science Vessel?

    I figure next year we'll probably see a Tier 6 version of the Luxury Cruiser. But the game is still missing a Risan Science Vessel to complete the ship class trinity. And I am a big fan of Science Vessels, too.

    It seems to me that the best possible "theme" for a Risan Science Vessel might be that of a submarine. Maybe they can tie it in with some Mycelium stuff, as it might be designed to explore the Mycelium Network, Fluidic Space, subspace in general or whatever. Or it might really be about fluff related to the ship designed for exploring the oceans of newly discovered worlds. Or it might have some cloaking ability - after all, Balance of Terror, the origin of cloaking in Star Trek, was basically submarine warfare in space. Maybe a combination.

    Code of Conduct as an Activity for Event Count

    I entered game for daily event count and ended up with Code of Conduct as next activity. I went to location and realized that was not going to be good when it started and I was only one there. Others soon join but I could tell it wasn't many (final count was 4). We barely got Snowconian operating and did our best but the town went down and the "RED" notice popped. Well, I thought that only meant we did not get the activity reward but it still counts for daily activity for Event. It turned out, NO! Only 4 to deal with the excessive mobbing an damage gen and the reward was only a waste of time.

    Message sent to GM:

    Why is Code of Conduct a win or else it doesn't count for event progress? I was in a zone that only four players, to include me, showed up and did the best we could. OK, the activity reward is not given but we went and did the activity so it should have completed the daily event reward. You just make that a waste of time for no reason other than not enough dps in small team. That needs to be corrected to avoid wasting player's time.

    P.S. Did get daily thru Fast and Furious, three showed up, one got disqual'd, and I got second just jogging.

    Odd Servers show as down

    As the title says this is odd the launcher took a bit longer to login the server status shows the server is down but I am able to log into the game just fine.
