    @AmbassadorKael: Every time someone accuses me of favoritism, they miss the most basic and hilarious part - people only get stuff to giveaway for their streams/podcasts if they ask me for it. That's the entire criteria. If you want items to giveaway, if you want folks to interview...just ask. :)

    Because you absolutely will. They aren't going to port over your lockbox connies and everything else. They are 100% going to make you buy (or gamble for) it again. Do the people who ask for a hypothetical STO2 really want that?

    So last night I watched the official cryptic stream and Kael stated that he is giving only KyuuContinuum a Genesis Bundle to give away on his Friday night stream to help him out. because he needs the help in his stream

    Now seriously Kyuu made a massive statement all of twitter writing 30 tweets about him dropping his full time STO streaming because he couldn't make it to partner to play other games and will only stream STO once a week on Friday, now idk about you guys but I see still a lot of other STO streamers still doing this full time with passion and yet because Kyuu is best mates with Kael he is constantly been given free zen and bundles to pump up his viewers which maybe = into more subs.

    Now is this fair to other streamers who work hard for 6 hrs + streaming this game, surely they deserve some credit too???

    Another question would be is this surely allowed a Cryptic employee giving free zen/packs/keys and ship bundles to a friend they have known for years for the sole purpose of boosting viewers on a stream??

    Kael this isn't fair I think this sort of favouritism needs to stop and you need to have a long look in the mirror and also connect with STO content creators not just try to boost your mates stream because he wanted to be a partner on twitch or gain loads of subscriptions off players. He then doesn't make partner gives up affiliate says he was only staying with STO to make partner so its basically saying i wanted partner the fans didn't make it happen for me so i'm off to play other games..... another streamer kicking the community in the face when the loyal ones are still playing it full time because they did not get the support they needed.

    I think "I'll do my backlog" and *BAM!* I'm so sick I'm incapacitated. Fantastic. I'm better now, but the frustration over "why is it always like that?" remains (and was here for quite a while).

    • Yes, Gamma recruitment is next.
      • It was updated, they made some goals a bit easier, added some new ones.
      • They launched Gamma because it needs much less attention in comparison to Temporal one, so they can fill waiting time while preparing the latter.
    • Jesse has started the active phase of reviewing the TOS missions in preparation for the Temporal recruitment rerun later this year.
    • They discovered what was causing the missing character slots and fixed it internally. Fix is going live soon.
      • As a part of that, they'd also free the slots that were consumed by the foundry characters.
    • Appearance of Guardian of Forever in DIS bumped the remake of the old fed episodes up the schedule significantly.
    • New ship: T6 Malachowski, Clarke class complete with 25c skin.
      • With the exception of the T1 Malachowski, T6 one and all Mirandas are mutually kitbashable.
    • Clarke is a C-Store ship, standalone version available, but also along with a "New Genesis" bundle of TMP-themed items, including the Genesis device that's different from the Foundry one.
    • Clarke is first of new cruiser subclass, "multi-mission cruiser".
      • Supposed to be smaller, nimbler version of flight-deck cruiser. Can equip cannons.
      • Old command battlecruiser may be reclassified. To be decided.
    • Clarke is prime-command.
    • Console is called "Genesis Seed". It's a weaponized Genesis device. USS Warcrime reporting in for the new equipment!

      • Both stats and visuals react to the number of the enemies affected (up to 10).
      • Console is unrestricted.
      • Upon activation, it creates small planetoid that starts to pull, emit radiation and drain power off enemies, all while growing, speed of growth based on the number of enemies affected.
    • Regarding the old cloak bug - apparently it was a result of desync where server had one info about cloak state and local machine had other.
    • IT'S HAPPENING! MEME IS REAL! T6 OBERTH HAS ARRIVED! THIS IN NOT A DRILL!
      • Alas, it's called Grissom class.

    • Grissom was based on one of original Voyager designs by Jim Martin that Thomas really wanted to do.
    • Grissom is also a C-Store ship, avalible standalone or part of afore-mentioned bundle.
    • Grissom is light science vessel, which is regular science vessel, but trades some hull for agility. Still has a high shield modifier.
      • Temporal prime spec.
    • Console is, predictably, based upon Pegasus.
      • Lore is that phase cloak technology wasn't viable at its core, so Starfleet made an offshot that wasn't about stealth.
      • It constantly drains auxiliary power, but gives kinetic immunity with time-scaling energy protection and kinetic damage (which can scale up to +400%). Shuts down upon draining all aux power or after 20 seconds.
    • Trait is very science - upon activation of the anomaly ability, it extends the duration of all active anomalies by 2 seconds. Can't be extended beyond 2 times original duration.
      • It seems that trait+console gives us the most basic scitorp meta.

    Just announced on Twitch. They have done some minor updates, but basically the same deal as previously. Temporal will be the next recruit after Gamma. Temporal won't include Disco, and they are updating some of the TOS stuff.

    Looking For Opinions on the Lifetime Sub

    Hello All,

    I recently returned to the game right before the lifetime sub went on sale. I played during beta, wanted it then, and life decided to basically say no. I've tried off and on and felt like that lifetime sub was always elusive to me. I'm finally in a position to get it, but I was looking for some opinions on if it is worth it. There are two ways I can look at it: I can get my money's worth after a little over a year, or the value of the goodies you get with the purchase. Sorry, I'm a numbers guy and that's how I break it down, I'm not stopping after a year, if I get a lifetime sub I play on getting my investment's worth to where it benefits me greatly. Was just curious what you folks think about whether or not it is worth it. For me, I really want some of those T6 ships and to play as a Liberated Borg. Thank you!

    What is considered decent DPS??

    As a general question, that i have been trying too get answered, what is considered good DPS?? I will give a instance errm, somebody actually put on the Hive Advanced that i did 4.44m damage and 12.75k is that considered OK or do i need to improve?

    Disappearing/Reappearing Character Slots

    So yesterday, after the maintenance, I logged in and noticed that I had zero available character slots, when I know I should have had two free slots at least.

    Today I log in, and they're back.

    Has there been any official acknowledgement of this issue? I know I'm not the only one affected and it's been going on for a while. Is this now resolved? Or will it happen again?
