About the saved costume .jpg files. Posted: 08 Nov 2020 08:05 AM PST I know about the (excellent) Saved Character Editor from STO Academy. My main question is about the process the uploaded .jpg files from the computer get edited. Does it changes the tags only to alter it. (I.E. StarTrek; ST; Gender:Male; Species:Sf_Alien_Male;) I plan to alter the finer details of the costume file through editing some code. Is it possible to access these details and how do I go about it? How long have you had that one BOFF? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 07:41 AM PST You know, the one you haven't changed the outfit on in forever, because he has the Romulan vest top on, and if you modify absolutely anything else, the game takes it away. I'll bet that guy's pretty rank, unless the sonic showers can do laundry while you wear it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2020 09:45 AM PST Is the Enterprise Era pack worth the 1315 Zen? I do want 2 out out of the 3 uniforms included as well as the ship but i also know i could get the ship for 15k Dilithium. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Is there any way to acquire the 10th anniversary ship bundles as of now? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 05:42 AM PST If it is not possible right now, does anyone know if it is going to return to the zen store? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2020 10:17 AM PST It's been a long long time since I used the iTunes Player in the game and now that it's working again I can't for the life of me find the damn interface for it. Can anyone help? Thanks all [link] [comments]

Newbie: Is this game nothing but combat? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 08:19 PM PST I created a Ferengi character. I got thru the tutorial. Then I had to fight off the Klingons. The Klingons killed my captain. Then I had to fight the Borg. I helped colonist escape. Next I beam down to the planet and fight the Borg and save colonist. So far from what I have seen the game is nothing but fighting. By picking the Federation, I thought I would experience something similar to a Star Trek episode. Beaming down planet side, solving problems and figuring out puzzles. So my question is. Will I have planet side adventures? Or is this just non stop combat. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 05:13 PM PST Disclaimer: I have been LTS on PC for a few years now, so would benefit from any additions. As it stands, the Lifetime Sub isn't as attractive to those that do not have it as to those who have purchased it in the past. The veteran ships were fair for their day, but have been more than superseded. The value of the monthly stipend is based upon how many years you feel the game has left. To that end, I feel that LTS could use a little sweetening. Nothing over the top, just a few tweaks to make it more appealing. I'd say one worthwhile tweak would be to freely upgrade the veteran ships to Experimental status. Whether the fleet veteran ships also gain the same perk is up for debate. Here's my biggie and possibly controversial. LTS sub should grant account access to previous event ships. That may be a step too far, though. Edit: After sleeping on this one, rather than give access to all past Event ships, throw in 5-8 Epic Phoenix Tokens for the account not per character. What reasonable additions would you propose to widen the appeal of shelling out for LTS? There is absolutely no certainty that Cryptic will add them, but at the same time no asking for the Moon. Confused on hair colors for new character. Beard is stuck as grey Posted: 07 Nov 2020 06:29 PM PST Hey there, new player here super excited to get started as I've always loved star trek and have watched all the shows and movies. That said, I'm super confused on the character creation side of things. My characters beard is stuck as grey. No matter what color I choose under facial hair (even clicking the same color in advanced options as the scalp) his beard has some grey in it like salt and pepper style. Is this a game issue or a graphics one? Thanks for any help! Edit: I just went back to character creation and noticed only the goatee and the "epic" is the right color. All others have some grey. I really like the full-medium but don't want to have grey beard hairs on a character that appears to be in their late 20s. [link] [comments]

Is there a Way to obtain the Sovereign-Class Nemesis Refit skin without spending over 250€ ? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 02:30 AM PST Well the Question is in the Title. I am a casual player, i play STO 2-3 Times a year when the StarTrek fiber comes over me once again. Then i usually play the Story mode because in my Opinion some of the Episodes are written pretty good and accurate to existing canon. When i play i usually invest in between 20 and 50€ to get the new Ship i currently like or upgrade the gear i'm using. I probably spent already more than 300€ so i should have become a lifetime backer once then i maybe would have spend less. But thats okay for me. Anyway recently i rediscovered my love for the Sovereign-Class and watched some videos online which show the customization options and the darker tone of the Nemesis refit just looks awesome and it is T6. So i thought i just buy it for 3000zen and have some fun. But supposedly it is only available with the "miracle worker assault cruiser" and that in term seems to be only available as a part of an 30000 or 45000 zen in bundles which would cost over 250€ which is just too expensive for the fact that i just want that one ship and nothing else in the bundles. So i thought i ask here: Does anyone know a way to get that Skin cheaper? 50€ or 5500 zen i am ready to pay without second thought. [link] [comments]
For Fun and Profit: Completing Tour the Galaxy in a Risian Luxury Cruiser Posted: 07 Nov 2020 04:17 PM PST In honor of the current universal endeavor, I thought I'd share my strategy for completing the entire course on Tour the Galaxy. It's not strictly budget - you need to either already have a Risian Luxury Cruiser, or an Ultra Rare Phoenix token to obtain one. Beyond that, it's all rep gear and mission rewards, borrowing from builds that actually are budget. With this build I can usually finish the course with between 1-2 minutes to spare, barring any major cockups along the way. The key is the Luxury Cruiser's built-in Solar Sail Quantum Slipstream Drive, which runs for 60 seconds before cooling down. Thus, you need a path that has decently spaced-apart segments of long straightaway to best exploit that advantage. I'm not using Lead Foot; it might be comfortable to have at some point, but it's not really needed. You will need: It shouldn't matter what mark the equipment is and mine just has the standard mods. You should have taken the Sector Space Travel Speed skill when picking perks from your skill tree. Finally, you'll need the map: The map is essentially the LGBT of Starfleet route with a couple of minor tweaks to maximize the time in slipstream. On my map, the legs to use slipstream on are marked in orange. The orange leg containing Iconia and the other orange leg including Risa are conservative estimates; you can usually squeeze out more distance in slipstream in practice than what I have marked. Note that in my Imgur post, the order is wrong; the route starts in the Alpha Quadrant, at Breen, involves a transwarp to Azure Nebula in the middle, and ends in the Beta Quadrant at the Vendor System. That's pretty much all there is to it. It's not a build or map that is gonna break any records, but it's a way to finish the course with nothing expensive/exotic other than the Luxury Cruiser. Happy racing! [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Nov 2020 04:19 AM PST There seems to be an issue regarding the Fleet Avenger parts on the Inquiry. They appear correctly when a toon has both ships, but disappear when the Fleet version is dismissed? Pretty sure this isn't working as intended. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2020 01:52 AM PST I'm having difficulties on one of the missions in the yesterday's war stories. The enemies I encounter (in space at least) are too difficult for me, I can't even take their shields down before I get destroyed. I play on PlayStation. Can anyone help me? [link] [comments]
