Hoping For Advice Re: What To Do With Old Event Stuff Posted: 29 Nov 2020 08:01 AM PST I recently returned after being gone for a couple of years. I've slowly worked my way through my roster, and have collected all the "autofill" event changes that took place when they switched up the system. Some of my earlier characters still have Lohlunat Prize Vouchers (2018 and 2019) and 8th Anniversary Prize Vouchers. I vaguely remember a way we could apply those towards later events, but I think it was a temporary option that was removed once the changeover happened. I was wondering what I should do with what's left over. I suspect I'll probably have to end up deleting them for storage space, but if there is any value left in them, I figure I should try and use them for something. And since I don't have anything else pressing to do, here is an image that made me laugh when I first loaded into the game today and saw what was happening: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50660067993_069a13115b_b.jpg [link] [comments]

I broke down and got the rom legendary pack but have a issue now Posted: 28 Nov 2020 05:10 PM PST It didn't grand my character any items other than the legendary ship and there is no claim option. So now I have a level 10 toon with the legendary ship.... what can I do to fix this? edit solved! Thank you to Ryoken0D C-Store --> Items --> Level 65 Romulan Captain Pack [link] [comments]
"You cannot change the species of the Character" Posted: 28 Nov 2020 03:50 PM PST Great new bug. Can't change BOFF outfits at all. Every single one I get the message "You cannot change the species of the Character" [link] [comments]

How would you feel about a DS9 uniform that doesn't look wrinkled repackaged as a Voyager uniform? Posted: 29 Nov 2020 02:22 AM PST Compare the STO TNG season 1 uniforms to their regular TNG uniform. The wrinkles are still there but they don't feel like the tailor took a vacation that week. I know VOY is probably the least popular of the golden age Star Treks, but I would like an option something that doesn't claim that the uniform was made famous by Sisko and Dax. At least VOY kept the uniforms till home, DS9 changed to the ugly grey uniforms which was influenced the TNG movies (VOY would have eventually known about uniform changes through the Hirogen com link that was set up). I just want a clean nice streamlined option that looks like it fits my character with a VOY flavor. Does anyone else feel this way? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 04:36 PM PST Is there a benefit to having characters in multiple factions? I was in the Federation when I played originally, but will probably be starting over as kdf with my girlfriend. Will I be able to transfer anything over to the kdf character? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 06:21 PM PST Anyone else experiencing freezes and lag when entering text into chat/pm or the exchange? I've had to quit and restart the game several times as a result today. Doing a hard restart hasn't fixed the problem either. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 08:40 PM PST Not trying to cause drama, just wondering how the community feels about it. https://www.strawpoll.me/37858001 Edit: Yes = Okay with it ending, No = Prefer it to last as long as it's viable. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 10:19 AM PST I just obtained 4× 30% disruptor infuser leading to a total 120% damage, my question is did the damage cap at +100% or it can be increased over it? Is it worthy to use this kind of consoles? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 04:07 PM PST Before we get into the build style there's some important context that needs to be stated first about my situation with the game: Today I realized that back in mah day (waves old man cane), I built a really fun KDF Tactical officer (there were no Romulans at this time or they did exist and were very, very new) where for a major sale and bit after it came out I got the full, original Bortasqu ship set and some other KDF ships for their consoles to help with this build that at least very very fun. I haven't touched this character in so long and so rarely that the only warp cores he had were the 0 EC mk x default ones, because when he was initially built Impulse engines and warp cores were the same thing, and the fastest you could go in sector space was by equipping the very rare Borg impulse engines (random loot drop if you were very lucky) and using Slip Stream Drive. The actual style build I want to know is still semi-viable: My goal back then was pure, undeniable energy drain through energy weapons and other shenanigans to just delete NPCs because they couldn't fire and/or have shields up. This was mostly done via Aceton Assimilators and polaron weapons. Even at just uncommon-rare Mk11-12 DHCs and turrets it did a REALLY good job at killing things in PVE, it wasn't good enough to solo an entire side of KSE/Khitomer Space Elite (yes I am THAT old) like a full 10/10 build could do, but it was up there, I'm guessing around a 6.5-7ish rating for the time. This was best accomplished via Canon Rapid Fire/scatter volley and my purple sprinkles of death coming from the absurdly high number of shots coming from my cannons which would easily knock off shields quickly before shredding whichever target dared to be within my 45 degree attack radius. As a result it looked/looks something like this:
Weapons mks not given because they're so outdated by today's standards
Shield/Deflector/Engines
Consoles
Boffs: The only ones that really mattered to me for this very specific build were 4 main things
Last questions regarding this/in summary I know this build is super outdated via ship and mk of consoles/weapons, but I have to ask if this style or something similar to this style of shenanigans is even still viable even as say a Dominion captain? If it's not what IS a good and viable high DPS build that can let me delete enemies universally with similar ease? I know it has to be a tactical captain (at least for space), but that's about it. Please educate me and explain this to me, all I really know is that proc rates have severely been nerfed and it's more of what can have more things boosting it, but that's about it, I don't know if say pure cannon pew pew vomit might circumvent this somehow. Ps. Completely unrelated question, but Eng captains are still really good for ground combat via summonables and explosives? I love abusing chroniton mines and transphasic bombs + the new explosive drone to just absolutely wreck ground forces/bosses. [link] [comments] |
