    Could we have a season without war?

    Don't get me wrong, I love STO - but we haven't had any exploration content in ages. Can we have a season that's less war, and more adventure? For example:

    Episode 1: Help Geordi La Forge and the Challenger chase down an infamous pirate
    Episode 2: Find Unobtanium X to cure a plague - a scavenger hunt that sends you to a bunch of old unused maps. "So Lt... We need to get this little guy back to New Romulus to cure the plague?" Lt Science: No sir, we need to get that little guy back to New Romulus to cure the plague. *Points at giant green gorilla*
    Episode 3: Mudd gets kidnapped by Ferengi wanting to know how he's getting more of our money then they are - and we have to rescue him before his secrets raise our prices forever
    Episode 4: A shore leave map where you spend the next day trying to find your boffs and getting them out of whatever trouble they've gotten into.

    I know STO is a combat based game, and I love shooting the baddies with my nanopulse disrupotr pistols, but something less... 'The world is ending' and more 'Nog stole Sisko's desk' would be fun for once.

    I tried tweaking the face on the Orion Medical Hologram to make her look a little less like a green Elisa Flores, but I screwed it up and now she looks less Charlize Theron and more Charlize Theron in Monster. and she doesn't have any presets to return her to normal.

    Are there any templates out there for good looking BOffs? I remember on Dragon's Dogma there was a trend of creating pawns that looked like celebs and sharing the creator settings for others to use. Has anyone done anything like that for STO?

    In-universe era designations for funsies

    Inspired by the work of Tim Palgut from Cydonia6 http://www.cydonia6.com/ (who created the in-universe TOS and TMP designations). I went through and made some in-universe designations for my own enjoyment and thought I would share. I also tried to think of an appropriate acronym for the Next Gen movies and went with FIN for First contact, Insurrection and Nemesis. I didn't go with DS9 or VOY because I didn't think they really represented the designs. DS9 is already an in-universe designation and VOY didn't really represent the entire look of star trek IMO.

    I included STO because I love STO :D

    edit: And I've grouped PIC into STO

    ENT – Earth Native Technology (2150-2230)

    DIS – Derivative Initiative Surplus (2230-2255)

    TOS – Technology: Original Standard (2255-2270

    TMP – Technology Modified Program (2270-2330)

    TNG – Technology: Network Generalized (2320-2370)

    FIN – Forward Interception Nominal (2370-2400)

    STO – Specialized Technology Orientation (2400-)

    ENT is early Starfleet ships based solely on Earth designs with only very limited influence from other galactic powers)

    DIS is notable for large and sturdy ships which experimented with vastly experimental computer systems and technologies used within less sophisticated spaceframes.

    TOS is distinctive as the first cohesive and uniformed Starfleet design method which included more mechanical interiors and streamlined appearance of all designs in this period.

    TMP was the natural progression into a more complex design philosophy following TOS

    TNG is notable for the desire to create large expansive ships designed for comfort and family use.

    FIN was a direct result of the Borg threat and Dominion war. Ships of this area and more combat ready and notable with the more angular designs.

    STO is a furtherance of the FIN standard but this more emphasis on customization and adaptability of older spaceframes with newer technology.

    As of July 9th patch, Personnel Tab Account Unlocks are still broken.

    When the update launched they showed as available but were costing zen zen. Second update no longer show available and only show zen cost.

    Threatening Stance Mechanics

    My friend says threatening stance has to be continually be reactivated in space combat, but the status stays on throughout the battle if I activate it at the begging of the fight. Do I have to keep toggling it to keep it active or is it a once and done kind of thing?
