| Ferengi costumes for Latinum, not Lobi Posted: 26 Jun 2020 09:28 PM PDT Since there isn't a whole lot in the latinum store that seems to get use, besides the party balls, I was thinking that the non-starship Ferengi-themed items could be moved to the Latinum store instead of the Lobi store. The existing items would maintain their price, so, like, the Adult Gekli Holo-Disguise would still be 25,000. The Lobi Consortium starships imported from the Tholian Assembly, the Tzenkethi, the Son'a, etc., as well as the Ferengi shuttle that the Lobi Consortium holds the exclusive distribution rights to would stay Lobi; additionally, the ship equipment they have the exclusive distribution rights to remain under contract, but the lone ground weapon and the outfits in the store are instead licensed by the Lobi Consortium to other manufacturers in exchange for the manufacturers receiving a generous 3.47% of the revenue, of course. It would give folks something active to save up for, since Space Barbie is the true end game, and it would make Latinum semi-useful. I did Lobi price * 10000 for the Latinum price, so it "scales" appropriately, since Latinum is relatively easy to come by, so there is a slight challenge, as it were, to getting the item you want

But what is the -4 on the Ship Captain and the 0 on the Voth ship? Are those their levels relative to my character's? Also, what are the bars, like the yellow one on the Voth and the four white ones on the Captain? Are those rank pips? I've Googled for this stuff but I can't seem to find an explanation. | Suggestion: Reroll Boff Traits Posted: 26 Jun 2020 02:17 PM PDT We have the re-engineering system to modify our gear, why not do that for boffs? Have the Boff you want, but it didn't get the right traits? Spend some Expertise/Dil/Salvage/Whatever to reroll one or more of its traits. Not a Rom-Captain, but want a full SRO crew? What do I mean by this well even though I've met and played with some great individuals it's been my experience and the experience of others that some Star Trek fans or some STO players have been really crappy to people. For a universe built on the betterment of mankind STO holds a lot of toxic individuals. People don't want to help the new guys. PvPers are more concerned with holding "the title" then to actually show people how to accomplish what they have. And when others do they try to black ball them. Or say the knowledge they are putting out is bad when in fact it's just another way of skinning the cat. Their are fleets that prey on new people. And we all know who they are. And unfortunately that experience causes people to leave STO and never return. Are there great fleets out there of course but the bad ones are really grinding away at the player base. Fleets infiltrating other fleets to take over those fleets and/or Armadas. I personally feel cryptic should make PvP and Fleet vs. Fleet part of the game with actual incentives. I think some of these people are bored and love the drama and chaos. Competitions may focus all that energy into earning stuff. Rather then targeting and preying on other players. Would this eliminate the issue no. I think it would reduce it and focus their minds on that. And it would give those that enjoy PvP a reason to do it. Cause let's be real only so much PVE one can do before they are just super bored. And when people are bored they start wilding out. But cryptic has to offer really good stuff. In the beginning everyone was helping each other. Now I just see so much toxic stuff. But this is just my perspective and opinion. Hope everyone has a good night. | PSA/Bug Report - I was charged zen for an already unlocked Ferasan BOFF. Posted: 26 Jun 2020 09:27 PM PDT I just submitted a ticket, but wanted to share so you can all avoid the trouble. With the personnel tab unlocked, I went to claim the Ferasan BOFF that I'd already purchased on another toon. The C-Store showed the Ferasan BOFF as "available", and the button to acquire it did not list a price, instead saying "claim" (as it had long ago been purchased on another toon). When I clicked "claim", I was charged 500 zen. This bug occurred on a new KDF aligned Romulan Liberated Borg toon. Be careful claiming this officer. | Are the KIDD drones working yet? Posted: 26 Jun 2020 07:55 PM PDT When they first appeared, they didn't work. I read all the posts and realized I was not the only one, so I removed it from my Rom drone engineer. THEN... during the latest event, I saw the KIDD appearing to work with other players and each module doing what they were supposed to be doing and I rejoiced. I put it back on my drone engineer and had great fun in the AoS during the event. But just today, on Kobali Prime, Defera, the Solanae BZ (ground), and Terok Nor (TFO) the KIDD just disappeared on activation and did nothing. It has been removed from my build again. Am I the only one? Are the devs still working on debugging it? I'd like to use it on my drone engineer. I don't particularly care for the Methuselah or Nomad (even though I switch between using them), and the Echo Papa was too expensive for my cheap self the last time I looked. | What happened to the Nerve Tonic? Posted: 26 Jun 2020 03:55 PM PDT As seen in the patch notes for 4/19/2018, the Nerve Tonic items were supposed to be added to the bartender on Drozana Station. Quote: "The bartender on Drazona has recovered the long lost recipe for the Nerve Tonic." However, when the bartender is spoken to, there is no option anywhere for the player to buy any of the four Nerve Tonic drinks. I know this is a bit of a random bug, but from what I can tell, the drinks were never actually added to the bartender in the first place. I hope they'll be re-added, even if there are other bugs out there that need fixing more than this. [link] [comments] |
