    I was halfway through the big last battle (in Bozeman) when I realized the difficulty wasn't normal

    I sometimes enjoy replaying episodes on a high difficulty, because when you have a character equipped with end game gear standard is kind of boring. It was not until I was halfway though the final Borg battle in Bozeman that I realized something was wrong. We prevailed, but it took longer than I would want it to on a mission I plan to repeat daily. So if you like to change your difficulties too, check them before doing this mission =P

    I ended up with a theme of late Coalition of Planets/early Federation for my main, a TOS Vulcan. I have a T5U D'Kyr, VSS Seleya, as my science vessel. TCS Baisas, a Tellarite Pralim FDC. IGS Talas, my Andorian pilot escort. And USS Ranger, my T6 fleet Paladin with Ranger skin.

    All ships share a TOS beam weapon loadout, as a sign of standardization occurring in the late Coalition of Planets period. All crews are in Starfleet 22nd century jumpsuits, armed with a mix of Discovery assault rifles and TOS hand phasers.

    While I'd love to have a T6 NX class to round it out, that's a lot of grinding. Plus, as Shran said in one ENT episode, the Enterprise is a frail little ship.

    My head canon is that the rounded, original TOS style ships were Earth Starfleet's last designs, made with Coalition input for improving human technology. The angular Discovery designs were a transition phase attempting to testbed various technologies from all members to see what was best going forward, but the heavy losses during the short Klingon war wiped that generation of ships out. Since they were testbeds anyway, newer vessels with solidified tech followed a different construction path.

    Not a comprehensive list, but here are uniforms that I've found the new badges do and don't work on:

    (They are account unlock, you can do them one a day per character so you can get more than one a day)

    Do work:

    All the Sierra and Antares.

    All TOS

    TNG Flilm, Skant

    Odyssy

    Section 31

    Enterprise Terran Mirror

    Diplomat

    Enterprise

    All Disco

    Admiral COAT

    SF Academy

    ​

    Does NOT work:

    2399

    Leeta Terran and other non-Enterprise Terran

    Simple

    Colony (which no other badges work except the colony badge :/ )

    Kelvin

    Winter Coat variants

    Intel

    Elegant

    Exo III

    Kobali

    Miner

    Any Jem'Hadar

    Survival (but works on the Admiral coat above)

    Bajoran (ironically the bajoran Zen store badge works on the terran uniforms above the new badges don't work on)

    To say the least the do and don't work list is really wonky, and really has no rhyme or reason. :/

    I'm calling this a bug report on flair because to me some of the do nots don't make sense at all.

    Change Specialization Manual?

    I am done the Dyson Sphere missions and somehow I received a BOFF specialization manual. I accidentally redeemed it for Pilot on my T6 Cruiser, which as I found out after does not have a Pilot seat. Just Command.

    How can I get a Command manual to train another BOFF in that specialization?

    Didn't realize all this until it was too late and I could not equip Pilot on my BOFF.

    For all those time cryptic describes a ship in detail ie hull etc, why isnt there carrier commands available each time I launch shuttles etc? I feel slightly guilty leaving them behind after each mission. Is cryptic planning to bring carrier commands across from pc to console?

    One Night in Bozeman

    Am I the only one that has had the bar scene from First Contact play in their head while listening to the dialogue in the new patrol? I love how they have it setup and am fully enjoying it, run it 4 times so far today and may do a couple on my wifes account just to get her some badges.

    Looking for an active PS4(preferred)/Cross platform fleet.

    I do have a fed lvl 65 toon at the ready , but I recently got my lifetime sub and started a liberated borg that I intend to be my new primary, and 2 others that I plan to work on in time. That being said I'd really like to get into a fleet that uses discord for better communications, lets face it the in game chat is lackluster at best. I'm not a complete noob but fleet play is still pretty new to me, willing to learn tho, and I doubt you'll find many more aggressive playstyles than mine. I'm on central US time btw.
