    Please move the light source in ship customization from behind the model to in front. By having it behind it throws the parts we can actually see into shadow and obscures your beautiful work when we're selecting materials. It is like if you had a light on a vanity table behind your head instead of beside the mirror.

    Apparently this boff is prejudice towards romulans allied with federation. I was able to claim this boff on all my fed toons of course and even on my allied jem'hadar federation toon. All my poor romulans that are fed allied are begging Geordi to join their crew but he said he doesn't work with romulans.

    Deal Disruptor Damage (space)... with plasma weapons?

    On my KDF toon, I am running a Varanus Support Vessel, with 4 plasma beam weapons (3x beam array, 1x DBB), and 2x transphasic torpedoes. Today, I had a Deal Disruptor Damage (space) personal endeavor which I planned to complete on another toon, as I wanted my KDF-Sci to get the DIL bonus from the event.

    Anyway, I am not running any Disruptor weapons as far as I can tell, nor do any of my powers (AFAIK) respond with disruptor energy, but yet at the end of the Khitomer Vortex event TFO, I had completed my Disruptor endeavor.

    How did I do this?

    Does Photonic Fleet use disruptor energy? ...and if so, does the toon get credit for their damage?

    Help me make this heap run sto

    So my ryzen died and I've pulled in my next fastest that was running XP games until Friday, but on sto I'm getting maybe 25fps. Specs

    Phenom X4 9950 overclocked to 3ghz from 2.6 Asus M3N72-D 4x2gb DDR2 800 EVGA GTX 280 128gb SSD 2TB HDD (stop installed here) Windows 10 Pro

    I've set everything to low and it just sucks

    Other gpus I can try though they should be slower than my 280

    GTX 550ti GTX 650 GT 640 DDR3

    I'm aware the game has been updated visually through the years but I remember running this game on a 7950gt and athlon 64 x2 6400 back in the day, and my buddy ran an e6700 and 8800gts 640 and both where fluid.

    Question about the Borg Exoskeletal Frame

    I assume the Borg Exoskeletal Frame from the upcoming Lockbox will be an Armor that unlocks a costume. Will all factions be able to use it? Because I'm tempted to turn my Jem'Hadar into a Borg/Liberated Jem'Hadar.

    An "Assimilated Gorn" would also look cool. Then again, I'm afraid some costume pieces may not be available for some species, which has been the case in the past.

    And will boffs be able to use the costume? Would be nice to get a verification from Cryptic about that.

    LTS in 2020

    Now that LTS sale is going on for PC at 50% I am looking for the value of this subscripion.

    I have bought the EC cap to 2 billion already and also a few inventory and bank slot upgrades. Any reason I should do this in 2020 or are there better alternatives for the same investment?

    10 year retrospective: what was your favorite feature/season/expansion that has been added since you started playing

    As a 10 year retrospective on the game, I thought it would be interesting to have people share what some of their favorite things that have been added to the game over the years have been. It can been a mission, expansion, map, feature or anything really just share some details.

    For me my favorite content addition was when LoR dropped, new faction, new ships, new maps it was a very exciting time, and even now New Romulus is still my favorite social zone and I spend most of my time there.

    Feature wise I think the change character button and reengineering are the best feature additions they've added.

    Can Chekov and Scotty be made to look like their older STO / TOS movie and TNG appearances or are they stuck with their youthful looks? I assume their uniforms can be changed, as with other BOFFs, correct?

    Is scaling in story missions bugged?

    Just returned to the game after several years and playing through the story as I never really did before. Doing the "Empress Sela" mission now as a Fleet Admiral 64 in a T6 Sutherland/advanced research vessel ship. I am on normal difficulty. I have full MK XII gear greens/blues on the ship which is all I have access to since I quit long before fleet marks were a thing and only have maybe a mil energy credits to my name. This gear has been enough for the Borg TFO events though and other story missions so I don't see why it wouldn't be enough for this considering this is very early game story if I remember right.

    I'm still getting utterly destroyed/outclassed by the romulan ships you're supposed to defeat at the end of this "Empress Sela" mission. The quest literally states "Defeat Romulan Vessels" as an objective so I know I'm not supposed to just run away from them or something. Even on 100% defense they eat through my shields in a couple hits. While at 100% weapons I can barely scratch their light cruiser thing... I'm kind of at a loss here. Anyone have any advice?

    Please don't tell me because of my level I may be forced to somehow upgrade to a fleet ship just to do story missions on normal difficulty?

    Biggest ships as of 2020?

    i just want to state that im aware that size≠performace, i am playing escorts only and im thinking of getting something from other side of spectrum and either adapting by dps built to it or going full tank. last year's post talks about Enterprise J, Vaadwaur Juggernaut and Tzenkethi Tzen-Tar, does something changed since then? Are there any new starships of that size?
