    So when I'm zipping around the galaxy, I have a tendency to speak out loud.... and give orders to my "crew"

    Things like: "Give me full impulse " "Target the nearest ship!" "Phasers fire at will"

    And such..... I'm not crazy, right?

    Hello!

    I'm looking into starting STO, but I was wondering if it's possible to find/buy items that will give me aesthetics for bridge/interior/uniforms/ships that match "The Wrath of Khan" era? It's my favorite era, & it looks like I can eventually grab Miranda/Connies/Oberths/Excelsior Refits & such in game, but I was hoping someone could help me with properly "matching" them theme wise with everything else.

    It would be cool if it would be possible to even have the old blue beam phasers fire instead of the newer colors, but I know that might be reaching.

    Also, how difficult would it be for me to get my favorite ship in the game, Excelsior Refit (Ent B) & keep using it for as long as possible?

    Star trek online on Mac

    I was on star trek online many moons ago and loved it but then they stopped it on Mac.

    I get very differing info about whether it hs returned to the mac.

    Has it?

    Just got some from the omega rep but can't seem to find them in the available section in the upgrade menu. Tried un-equipping them so they're just in my inventory but it hasn't done the trick.

    Duty Officers - R&D school specialists need protection

    Is there a way to protect your R&D school specialists in the "Common" quality roster from being accidentally donated to a special project?

    The current way is a window that lists your qualified duty officers for donation, but their description doesn't state if they are "special R&D Dofs". Hence the risk of donating someone you want to keep.

    At best I've written down and alphabetized the 152 names of known R&D specialists to use as a means of checking, but this will add more time to complete what should be a simple task.

    What are your solutions?

    Elite queues: what’s not dead?

    So I'm getting back into STO after a long hiatus, and trying to catch back up in time for the next upgrade weekend. In grinding for salvaged technology, what elite queues are still active? Seems like it takes forever to match up to ones any more. Or are people purely getting salvages tech from admiralty now? Any tips or tricks to getting this?

    Last I played, BotS would match within a minute...

    PS4 I am stuck, “defeat me” feature?

    So I've recently become stuck inside a sun in sector space and pressed I am stuck god knows how many time's but now it's saying use the defeat me feature. I can't find a button for this anywhere and tried typing it Into chat if it's some kind of command but nothing happens. Any subregions?
