| A simple solution to the carrier problem Posted: 21 Nov 2019 06:19 AM PST In the months since the change from Flight-Deck Cruisers to Flight-Deck Carriers a lot has been talk about how normal Carriers are now inferior to FDC. Either because they have less weapons slot or can't equip dual (heavy) cannons, Carriers now perform worse in general than FDC. I have an idea that can resolve this problem and bring a unique mechanic to the carrier type: Let pets launched from carriers benefit from our consoles passive bonuses.That way Carriers pets have an improvement against pets launched from Cruisers, Dreadnoughts or Escorts without changing our builds or the ships stats. I assume if your min maxing then yes, but i don't do this min maxing stuff. I have a few orions left and they seem to do good damage still. I mostly do space barbie related, and to have fun. | Unsure about starting another toon Posted: 21 Nov 2019 09:27 AM PST So I've got a Fed Science Toon and a Fed Tac Toon. I really want to do a Rom or KDF toon but really don't like choosing which one nor do I like having to buy extra inventory/ship/drydock slots. I need a change of pace though. I typically enjoy DPS builds but there are times where I love tanking. As far as ships are concerned, I enjoy both cruisers and small maneuverable ships. My first toon was Fed Sci and didn't really know what I was doing until about 3 months into gameplay. Now I know better. Would you all care to share insights, thoughts, and opinions?
