Is "City on the Edge of Never" going to be part of the revamped Temporal recruit missions?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 09:55 AM PDT

I've heard of this mission and I loved that TOS episode and have wanted to play it. So, does anyone know if the devs fixed the mission for its inclusion in the new recruitment event?

Dr. Strangelove Temporal Recruit - or how I learned to Love the Leveling Up

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 09:42 AM PDT

This post is to farm karma remind us that since you need to level up a new temporal recruit char, and build it´s equipment, why not do both?

It has very similar content as:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/le6jwt/dr_srange_recruit_or_how_i_learned_to_love_the/

This is recommended to who have already done all missions in game. The idea is to do them out of order.

We have to do all the missions in the game to get the unique items. We all also might have some special mission items that we like most. The first arcs of story do not have as much unique rewards as the newer arcs.

Instead of waiting to level 50 to farm them, farm them now. Each mission can give you a full level.

Also, gear with lower level, gets more chance to quality improvement with the upgrades. If you waited to get it with level 50-60 you will get it with level XII

This is the mission reward list link from the wiki

I did this list for me, and I am sharing it. The items I like to get are:

Also from time to time I think of doing a turret ship, but it ends not doing all that damage. Well, turret ships work for lower levels quite well, might not vaporize enemies instantly, but might help you with that itch for turret ships. I prefer the visuals of Cannon Rapid Fire with turrets only than Cannon Scatter Volley.

TLDR; Do missions with unique rewards out of order; use a turret only ship; do favorite missions; avoid Coliseum and Vault for til the end

The title is based on the great movie Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) from Stanley Kubrick If you have not watched it, give it a chance, don´t mind it is black and white, it is a great movie.

"Say, Lepeta Leaves..." --- "Oh, f#@! you!" (one of fave spots on Pahvo. FANTASTIC Scenery)

Just a little bit of a personal nitpick this time, but let me have this. The RR Dress Uniform is a nice addition to the Romulan uniforms and a neat little gift for Lifetime Subs. However, what irks me is that the main colour of the clothing (the very dark green) is not available as a colour.

Unable to claim Tier 5 Admiralty reward on Gamma Recruit

The RRW Vothra. Finally got the ship I always wanted. The Valkis Warbird! Love the design and so far it's quite devastating in combat. Can't wait to gear it up!

Has anyone made a “Shopping-List” for the upcoming Temporal Recruitment?

    Posted: 31 Aug 2021 11:33 PM PDT

I settled for now on the Titan and a Deuterium Stabilized Warp-Core.

(I can claim the Mycelial set but hate dancing Elachi so probably gonna claim only 2 Parts of it)

    Gonna craft some Cannons to.

Star Trek: Prodigy main title sequence gives us a first shot of the hero ship. I look forward to having it in the game, and am super curious as to what type/class it could be. It reminds me of the old Star Cruiser.

Can't open Klingon Recruit reward box that contains reroll tokens

    Posted: 31 Aug 2021 07:49 PM PDT

Not sure if this has to do with the recent changes to admiralty and endeavor tokens, but I just hit 700k endeavor XP on my Klingon Recruit, but the reward box, which should contain two perk points and five reroll tokens, is unopenable.

If you were given a task of designing your ultimate "Money no Object" Legendary Ship, how would you do it?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2021 03:27 AM PDT

Hey, lovely Admirals. So, lets loosen up our imagination and let it go wild for a bit. You are given a task of designing your ultimate "Money no Object" legendary ship. How would you do it?

Here's how I would do it. I call it "Daniels class" as a tribute to Agent Daniels:

    Weapon Layout: 5/3

    Secondary Deflector slot.

Seating Arrangements: Commander/Lt Commander Universal Temporal, Commander/Lt Commander Miracle Worker, Lt Commander Tactical, Lt Science and Ensign Universal.

--In Temporal Mode, the Secondary Deflector will be online and Miracle Worker Seat will be reduced to Lt Commander while Temporal Seat will be upgraded to Commander. In this mode there will be sensor analysis and subsystem targeting. In Miracle Worker mode, Commander Temporal seat will be reduced to Lt Commander and Lt Commander Miracle Worker seat will be upgraded to Commander. In Miracle Worker mode, subsystem targeting and sensor analysis will be offline. Switching between them will take 4 seconds.

2 Hanger Bays, 1 equipped with Hull Regeneration drone, another will be with Tactical Flyers.

    3 Device slots.

Consoles: 4 Tactical, 4 Science, 2 Engineering and 1 Universal.

Universal Console: Neutron Burst. It will fire 10 charges of Neutron bombs that will look similar to Vaadwaur Artillery, but only green. They will deal radiation DoT.

Trait: "Arcane Engineering" When hull is bellow 25%, Hanger pets will be immune to energy weapons for 10 seconds and your Engineering/Miracle Worker boff cool down will be reduced by 80%.

T6 Trait: Temporal Wormhole: Your gravity well spawns 3 additional gravity wells with Temporal Wormholes which will deal additional physical damage scaling up with entropy.

So, how would YOU do it?
