While the prospect of actually being able to sell a great vanity shield to have some EC is incredibly appealing, I hate the thought of someone being screwed over because of missing a couple of zeros. | House Mo'kai/Aakar/Aakan/Aakam/Gowron /Path to 2409 thoughts Posted: 24 Mar 2021 08:58 AM PDT In the Path to 2409 we learn that the last leader of House Mo'kai, before it was dissolved by B'Vat, was Aakan. This was way before J'Ula came back. Now we have Aakar, son of Aakam (father to M'Rel and grandfather to Gowron) who were both also presumably Mo'kai. Is it logical then to assume that Mo'kai, before it was dissolved and resurrected, had fallen into the hands of one of the decedents of Aakam? Which is to say one of Aakar's brothers or his children and, therefore, the cousin to Gowron? Or, at the very least, some other relative? The similarity of names is interesting and I THINK it is pretty nifty for the devs to tie it all together, esp. consider the Mo'kai/ Aakan thing was a glancing reference to a text that's rarely been touched for years. However, I've noticed that Captain Walker and-I think- the COs of the Tempus and Poh and various npcs, sport a lighter blue color for the uniform's main color. Can we assume then that this color scheme is the "correct" one in STO? Moreover, I wonder what made the devs change the colors? Is it imply a matter of expediency and that with the color palette it is easier to match the lower and upper uniform parts than the black and off-black options of the canon uniform? My OCD makes it so if I change one aspect of facial features/body type on one load out...... I have to change them all. If I don't it'll drive me nuts til I do and that takes more time than I sometimes have. Would love an option to simply delete all but the first outfit slot. I play STO on the xbox and so far all other audio such as PvE and patrols are working but in the story campaigns the characters are mute. Its not that its bothering but it is awkward watching a cutscene where the characters just stand there and wave their hands. [link] [comments] | ||

At first I thought it was just my Narendra, but its happening with my Hestia now too. Usually in the Kern system patrol, but I've had it happens at ESD too. I push the space bar a few times and get transwarped to the Fleet Starbase. The transwarp dialog never pops up, the animation just starts. Mercifully, it's never happened in a TFO. My guess is it can't happen when in Red Alert. (since you can't warp out in Red Alert) EDIT: It does appear to be something in my spacebar keybind... Not sure why though. I'm sure my keybind is ...not ideal, but it doesn't include a command to transwarp [link] [comments] | ||
| Moral of the Story: Check the Visuals Tab before dismissing a ship Posted: 23 Mar 2021 11:37 AM PDT So when I heard about last week's Mudd's Market sale, I was stoked to buy the Risian Corvette, which would mean I could get the Pilot corvette from my fleet and play around with speed tanking. My main toon's dry dock and active ship slots were full so I dismissed a few C-store ships I don't currently fly. Turns out I accidentally deleted my Pink Vanity Shield from the Breast Cancer Awareness Pack a while bank though I didn't notice and file a ticket until I'd got the Pilot Corvette and upgraded it to T6-X. Turns out to get my Pink Vanity Shield back, the toon had to be rolled back... which was done today. I was told I'd lose the Pilot Corvette which is fine, I can just grind EC for another Fleet Module BUT... I didn't get my vanity shield back and got wiped from my fleet too. Hence the moral of this story. Had anyone else had trouble with roll backs? Just curious if it's worth having the toon rolled back again for the Vanity Shield. [link] [comments] | ||

And possibility the Universe Temporal Heavy Dreadnought Cruiser. (Possible) Method;
I will need at least 2.5 Billion EC to *possibly* achieve this (700 for the Liberated Borg Command Juggernaut and 1.8 Billion for the 90 Infinity Promotion! - Research & Development Packs). Am I crazy or is this doable as a F2P player? [link] [comments] | ||

Because the Borg DOFFs need to proc to reduce CDs I want to see how often they are actually proccing, and if I'm actually getting down to global. Are there any parsers that track buff uptime? Or some other method to determine buff uptime? I am using STO CDR 3.3, which is awesome but I want actual data to confirm the theory crafting. [link] [comments] | ||
