    Now, I'm a cat person Klingon, so I don't know if this is normal behaviour for dogs or a product of Orion bio-engineering. But this dog has been happily rolling around, mostly sideways, for quite some time now.

    I wonder if it needs help.

    Thoughts on the Terran Styx Dreadnought Cruiser?

    So for the event, I'm thinking of getting my Terran character a nice ship, one of the ones I'm considering is the Styx Dreadnought Cruiser (along with the Mirror Donnie and the Freedom). I know very little about the ship other than how it looks (which is very sexy). Anyone have any useful insight into it?

    Which KDF ship to reward myself with?

    I just got my first Klingon to lvl 65 during the recruit event and I want to reward him/myself with a C-Store ship. I know I have unlocked cross faction, but I kinda have my heart set on getting a KDF ship and I have narrowed it down to a battlecruiser and either the Kurak, the Martok or the light BC the QeHpu.

    For the Martok, I have the Krenim Science ship so could make use of the 2-set bonus from the console, but not sure if the traits on the other ships would be better long-term.

    ​

    I'm not really into min-maxing DPS...I'm more of a casual, F2P player looking for a fun ship to fly with good manouverability.

    ​

    Any tips, advice or insight from owners of these ships would be most welcome!

    EDIT: Cryptic fixed the beam color in an updated preview picture and the phasers appear screen accurate now!

    Today we received our first glimpse of the 32nd century phaser weapons with the upcoming Voyager-J R&D prize. Notwithstanding the fact that they won't be upgradable on release - we'll have to wait for the lockbox - what's disappointing is their color and size does not at all match what we see on-screen during the final episode of season 3. The picture shows large yellow beams, not at all similar to the thin blue/green beams we see in the skirmish between Fed ships and Discovery. So now I ask: Devs, can you please change the colors and size of the 32nd century phaser weapons to match those of the show?
    For reference, based on the very last episode of season 3, we can see Federation ships use weapons of a teal'ish blue color. They are also very thin, reminiscent of the beams during the Battle of the Binary Stars (beams which STO expertly mimicked on first release of Disco content until the great, uh "beam embiggening"). There also seams to be cannon fire of the same color. Additionally, Discovery's phasers have a TOS sound (which is weird, but okay 32nd century refitters). Osyraa's ship fires yellowish red pulses (Discovery season 1 style), and Book's ship fires the same style except white.

    PSA: For those of you looking to emulate the weapons on the show, I have a couple suggestions. Sounds cannot be mimicked, but the visuals can:
    - Federation: Phased Biomatter or Plasmatic Biomatter beams, or Disco linked phasers.
    - Osyraa's ship: Mirror Klingon linked disruptor beams or cannons (the yellow ones).
    - Book's ship: Klingon linked disruptors (though they're closer to green), or Destabilized Tetryon cannons (I don't think there are any Disco pulse-style white beams).
