    Nothing ruins the story of a mission like combat starting before you can read the dialogue boxes

    I'm noticing this happening on several missions with my Klingon recruit. NPCs should not be attackable, or in range to attack you, until you click through the dialogue. If combat starts before you can actually read(or listen) to the mission dialogue, you might as well toss the story out the window and say it means nothing.

    I thought these missions were just revamped? Is this just bad design or what?

    Can you miss match reputation armor? Like have interchangeable arms, legs, torso and or head.

    Faction Vanity Shields

    One thing I wouldn't mind having is for each faction to be able to buy vanity shields from their regular EC equipment vendor that will make ships not from their faction look like they've been repainted in the colours of their new owner.

    For example, put a KDF Vanity Shield on a Galaxy Class to:

    • Remove the red lines/starfleet pendant (replacing them with the KDF logo, though not always in the same place as the original markings).
    • Remove the registry number (or at least make it possible to put in a blank one).
    • Turn the Nacelles/Deflector colouring more Klingon-like (as if the original Starfleet tech has been replaced).
    • The name is written in Klingon script instead of English.
    • Maybe with the hull painted green overall.

    Just an idea I got from the IKSV Staav'eMara, a Starfleet ship captured by the Klingons and "repainted in Klingon colors".

    Until they add "real" Disco-KDF boffs, here is a temporary alternative

    Before they added the "real" Disco-KDF species to the game, we created these using the alien species parts:

    Set 1, based on the characters seen in the show:

    While these are obviously not the "real" thing, it is a temporary alternative if you want to have a full Disco "looking" crew until they eventually add the real boffs.

    Ironic, I know. I asked about an L-Selsior, but not only is this too much it's just... bad marketing. Last year's pack worked because you had ten ships that were account-wide unlocks. Since then you did things like the Mirror and Romulan packs which were well worth it to people. I was hoping for the same thing for the L-selsior and quite honestly, I think that's how all Legendary ships going forward should be marketed. A legendary Excelsior with some TWoK era themed items and holo boffs would probably sell considerably especially if the seating and specs are good. Same with a BoP pack and a D7 pack. A mega pack of ships should consist of all those ships at an overall discounted rate. THAT would be a marketable and potentially winning strategy. Those who want just one or two would get one or two and those who want them all would buy them all.

    I myself would consider a purchase of the L-Selsior and a Legendary D7 if they were in their own packs. A mega bundle of Klingon ships? Maybe if the bundle was priced fair and had stuff I want. This one does not.

    I don't think this is some kind of a dire need (Legendary D7, IMO, should definitely come first... probably a T6 Nova [and even T6 Oberth], too), but I do think that the Constellation deserves an eventual T6 rollout for a couple of reasons:

    1. The Stargazer. No more, really, needs to be said, but it was Picard's first command, and is noteworthy enough for this reason alone.
    2. It's the only canon 'lost era' Fed mainstay cruiser that doesn't have a T6 variant. As far as I can tell, after the Constitution-class' retirement, the primary Federation fleet - for a period of about 40-45 years - was almost exclusively made up of Excelsiors, Mirandas, and Constellations (and Oberths, though they weren't cruisers).
    3. It's a cool 4-nacelle design (and so is the Cheyenne derivative). These are fairly common in STO, but I don't think it hurts anything to have them better represented (I'm one of those people who really likes the Wolf 359 kitbashes, and wishes we had more of them).
    4. It would make a fine light carrier, and these are fun to play. No, really - they are (when done right). All those shuttle bays (it has... what...5?) must be there for some reason. It would not be illogical at all to make the thing at least a hybrid carrier.
    5. The Picard Bundle version is almost a joke. 120 bucks for a T3 (yes there are other ships and items in the pack, but c'mon). You could simultaneously upgrade the iteration in that bundle to the T6 and make it at least slightly more appetizing a purchase.

    Surely Gre'thor should be an eternal grey office block where there is no battle, only filing and tedious small talk?

    or should I try to always go for the best bridge officers with all my toons? Or is it "enough" to, say, upgrade my starter boffs the way I want them? What would I miss out on? Or what boffs should I get in any case?
