    For me, it was that Jem'hadar actually need to use the ketracel white, not just have it in their inventory. My poor dude was doing the crawlies for a few months with me thinking it was a tailor mistake (I thought it was the "creature" stance). Fortunately I was mostly using him for admiralty during that period.

    Seriously. The traits disappearing ALL THE TIME is getting SO OLD. How did this even make it out of QA? Did nobody change a trait to a build? This has been broken since the patch. Enough is enough.

    Titan questions, wiki is too slow

    I bought the T6 coupon bundle and was thinking of grabbing a Titan for the trait (I have a pet build) and the console (I have an EPG build).

    But the wiki doesn't have the stats yet.

    Can anyone write up the console stats and let me know how long the support craft stays with you (several seconds means?).

    Good T6 or even T5 ship for Rom Tac

    Hello and sorry of this is a bit of a noob question as I just started playing about a month ago.

    Im at 65 and an currently using a Mirror Ha'feh Warbird and am looking to upgrade.

    I have about 3k zen to spend but don't know what to get. Ive heard that the Schimitar is good but it's limited by only being T5.

    I've been thinking about getting the Kara but want to see if there are better options for Rom ships.

    I'm not looking to full out min max everything, but to just be able to do well in end game content.

    Can early specialization skills be updated to scale with stats? (ctrlx or drainx)

    All intel, pilot, and command specialization skills do not count as control/drain abilities and do not scale with your captain skills, despite several skills having explicit control/drain effects. This has severe repercussions on a ton of traits and abilities that proc off of drain or control abilities not actually counting.

    This was corrected when Temporal Operative was released, which do count as relevant skills for procs, and continued with Miracle Worker.

    I think it's time for this oversight to be resolved.

    Are ALL hangar pets eventually going to have squadron variants?

    In a stream a couple of weeks ago, it was mentioned that Cryptic is really pleased how the squadron variants of all the hangar pets are shaping up. Does this mean that eventually ALL the current pets will have a squadron option available, or is it just for newer ships going forward?

    Although I would love a chance to have a Elite Peregrine squadron, might I also suggest this could be a good opportunity to introduce a new Federation fighter design? Lore-wise, the Peregrine has been in service for the better part of half a century or more by this point, so maybe we could get a newer fighter.

    Follow up to LTS what you get post - blog vs STO wiki vs XBOX description

    A couple weeks ago I posted asking about discrepancies in lists of what you get for an XBOX LTS from different sources. Today I bought my LTS, so I thought I'd post to confirm certain items for others thinking about getting it.

    The 3 sources I'm comparing are the current sale blog post, the list in the STO Gamepedia page, and the description in the XBOX Z-store.

    Character slots: Blog says 3, Gamepedia says 5, XBOX store says 3. Received - 5.

    Outfit slots: Gamepedia says 2, not mentioned in blog or Z-store. Received - 2 per character.

    Bridge Officer slots: Gamepedia and blog says 2, not mentioned in Z-store. Received - 6 per character.

    Blog and Z-store says 3 T5 and 3 T6 ships. Gamepedia says Jem'Hadar Vanguard Heavy Destroyer as well. Received all ships including Jem'Hadar Vanguard Heavy Destroyer.

    Also - the slots worked out differently. Lists say 30 inventory slots, but actually 36. Account bank says 20, but only 19.

    EDIT: Also just noticed I got 5 drydock slots per character, and that's not on any of the lists.

    East Coast issues (12-1-2020)

    I am just one player among many and I am making this thread to help other players on the US East Coast know that if they are having trouble connecting to or playing STO, it isn't just them.

    I tried to log in to STO this morning and was met with absurdly long loading screens and rubber banding. I had also just very recently changed my modem out to replace an older one, so my connection issues could just be one huge coincidence, but it is still worth noting in case it isn't coincidental.

    I asked in the STOReddit Discord and I was told that it might be a regional issue. People in the Central or Western US zones did not seem to be affected, according to those who responded in said Discord.

    One other East Coast player was reporting that they could not get past the character select screen. Another player reported through the in-game reddit channel that they've been getting disconnected this morning, though they also said they think it is just their own connection at fault.

    If you are on the US East Coast and are having issues connecting, please chime in. Cryptic may not be able to do anything about it, but I think there needs to be a thread so other players are aware of the regional connection issues that have appeared this morning (December 1st, 2020).

    Available doff assignments on bridge tied to ship?

    Hi there, I recently noticed something odd while doing my doff routine (KDF) - for the longest time I flew Romulan Escorts and knew which particular duty officer assignments I was looking for in the sectors and from ship bridge. Then I changed to a Breen Heavy Raider, no difference. But lately I'm flying a Jem'Hadar Vanguard Warship and noticed that the list of available doff assignments you can get via ship bridge is not only much less (like only 4-5 choices per department) but some never were offered, most notably the Disable Freigther (contraband) and Officer Exchange which drove me crazy (also other classic marauder assignments were missing like the 20h steal artifact assignment).

    When I changed back to my Romulan Escort I was able to pick up like 6 freigther assignments in a row and was offered all Officer Exchange assignments whereas in my JH warship there were none offered the whole time. I'm just doing Marauder, Tactical and Recruiting assignments so I cant say anything about the other departments but it seems that either the bridge doff assignments are tied to your ship type or the JH Warship is bugged when it comes to bridge doff assignments (I checked both the bridge computer and the doff personnel around the ship).

    Any thoughts or similar observations?
