    Looking to get this ship, but have conflicting info on it.

    sto.gamepedia.com says 2 Hanger Bays & Romulan Battle Cloak

    In STO Zen Store, the T6 version says 1 Hanger Bay & no Cloak

    In STO "New Ship Requisitions" it says 2 hanger Bays for T6 & no Cloak

    In STO "New Ship Requisitions" it says 2 hanger Bays for Fleet T6 & no Cloak

    Quick YouTube search shows it with only 1 Hanger Bay but it's from 2017 & says Assault CRUISER

    Another video from 2020 shows Assault CARRIER with 2 Hanger Bays, & Romulan Battle Cloak with Warp Core, so that is what the sto.gamepedia says, but just want to be sure because In Game says otherwise.

    I played STO when it first came out back in 2010. Played for several months. Haven't logged in since. I hear that Arc Games is now running it instead of Cryptic.

    Would I still be able to log in under my original account and have access to my old ships?

    I would prob be playing via Steam this time around.

    I'd like some info about Klingon Science.

    My knowledge of the game isn't particularly in depth so I was hoping for some outside input.

    I want to make a Science career character and I'm leaning towards the Klingon story, but looking at the ships available they don't seem to have a lot in the way of Science.

    Can a Science Klingon compare to a Science Fed?

    Is there a method to reliably get the rainbow tribble to work on all away team bridge officers?

    with my captain and the boffs all having and using the tribble, it should be 12.5% crit chance.
    sometimes its 5%.

    one time (out of only a few tests) it worked on 3, but so far never on four.

    Is there a method I'm not aware of, or is it just a bit buggy?

    New player question: Why can I sometimes not attack enemy ships right next to me, like the prisoner transports in the special event TFO? Is this a debuff? How do I avoid or remove it?

    What's a good indication that I'm ready for advanced difficulty?

    Ever since I've first started playing in 2011, I've never been brave enough to go beyond normal difficulty. However, lately, likely as a result of power creep, my endeavors to optimize my build and research on the matter, I'm starting to cut through enemies like they're made of paper, especially when there's a competent tank in the group.

    For example, yesterday during a khitomer vortex run, I ran ahead of everyone else to attack the tac cube and it was destroyed with my first alpha strike, likely before most of the team had a chance to get a shot in.

    Things are getting a lot easier for me and I'm starting to wonder if it's time to turn things up a notch. Should I jump up to advanced?

    Suggestion: Allow the Cardassian Galor and Keldon to equip the cloaking device console.

    Now, I know this is a long shot and entirely based around one episode from DS9 where the Cardassians are working in tandem with the Romulans, and the effects on gameplay would be minimal to nil as it's just a gimmick for flavor.

    This is just a suggestion for flavor, equipping the same console that comes with the Defiant and can be equipped on the Avenger and Gal-X as well. It's supposed to be the same cloaking device that the Romulans loaned to the Federation, strictly for use on the Defiant during the Dominion war, and I would assume a similar device was installed on the Obsidian Order's Keldon cruisers that went into the wormhole to surprise gank the Dominion. Given that the later Cardassian ships added into the game through the intel bundle use cloaking technology, it would be safe to assume that the Obsidian Order did some discreet tinkering, if not outright given the devices for reverse engineering, and handed it over to the Cardassian military for R&D.

    Now, the biggest, most glaring issue with this is the lack of access to this console from KDF/rom-KDF toons, but I think this could be fixed by adding the console to the dilithium reclaim tab if the Keldon or Galor are unboxed on the account.

    Given that the Defiant Retrofit is essentially given to the player for free now, I don't see it as a store exploit to get the cloaking device console without purchasing the T5 Defiant. Besides, the console is limited to so few ships and is so relatively little used, I doubt it'd be extremely desirable in that it's a bit outclassed by other universals now.

    At the end of it all, I just think it'd be a neat optional gimmick and a nice reference to the only time we actually see Keldons on screen, IIRC.

    [new to PC] Is STO worth picking up and paying for LTS?

    Hi I'm new to the PC version of STO. I played the console version a few years ago and spent a fair bit of money on Zen, but I'm thinking of playing on PC and don't really know where to start with all the updates since I played last. I honestly really just want to fly the Kelvin ships and probably the Defiant. Maybe some JH ships. But like with careers, can a Tac Captain effectively fly a cruiser? Would I be limited to Escorts? Is there a large fleet recommended? Sorry for long post but thanks for any info you guys can share.
