    Dear devs: the Bat'leth should not be the least effective melee weapon to use in game

    For those that aren't aware: when using a sword and other one handed melee weapons, pressing the attack button causes your character to run towards the targeted enemy. So even if they run away, you are automatically following them. However the Bat'leth(and other 2 handed weapons) does not do this, and means the enemy is constantly moving out of your range. This means that the coolest melee weapon in Trek is less effective in game mechanically than some random sword. So, maybe during this whole "year of klingon" thing you can actually fix this issue?

    Disco PewPew Phasers Drop Quality

    I've always liked the pewpew style of Disco beams, and I'm glad they now drop from the appropriate content. But so far I've only seen them drop in Uncommon quality. I'm looking for a full set of Phaser beams for the cannon effect for a Fe'rang Dreadnaught. I've already got a set of Disruptors but want a blue set for when I change colors/vanity shields. Do they ever drop in VR quality, or am I going to have to sink several million in the Linked variants on the Exchange?

    Celebrating the Kelvin anniversary in STO

    Yesterday was the 11th year anniversary of the 2009 Trek movie. Love it or hate it, it was actually the first introduction to Trek for many younger folks, and many of them have gone on to enjoy the various other Trek shows and movies. It also breathed new life (and cash flow) into the Trek franchise which had been dormant since Enterprise.

    Fortunately for the Kelvin timeline fans we have several of the ships and uniforms from those movies in our game, and the STO costumes team has done their best to recreate many of the characters from those movies. For any who are interested, all of these files are available for download as well as pics of the sliders for those who play on console.

    Question to the community: what other ships/uniforms from the Kelvin films would you like to see added? Are you interested in seeing more Kelvin content like the episode we currently have?

    I'm not sure if they ever plan on doing more "adventure zone" type content, but if they do the planet from the 4th film might make an interesting location. Anyway, share your thoughts!

    Can you even imagine how disappointed the devs must have been with PICARD from a "new ships we can sell!" perspective?

    Think about it. Discovery gave them, like, a dozen ships they could sell us through the store or stick in lockboxes. Then when Picard was announced, they must have been so excited about all the new "modern" ship designs they would be able to sell us. Imagine how disappointed they must have been to find out no fed ships even appear until the last episode, and the one design we see looks like something you can already kitbash in game!

    When I equip a 2 and 3 piece set to my toon that captain will benefit from the gear AND they will also receive some type of bonus.
    Will my BRIDGE OFFICERS, and basically the entire team benefit from the bonus when I equip sets to them as well?

    Consoles that deploy stuff?

    I was trying to find all the consoles that deploy pets, platforms or other things that attack enemies.

    The wiki list seems incomplete as I kept find consoles not listed.

    Can you post every console you know of, please? I prefer consoles that can be used on any ship.

    Question

    Ok so to keep a long story short I recently was suppose to pick a new starship. I had the Akira class before I picked the galaxy class. When I was in a recent battle with the Klingon's my ships shields went down faster than the stock market in 1939. And I remember fighting the same type of enemy ship with my Akira and the shields holding up well. So here's my question, should I continue with the galaxy class starship or should I revert back to the Akira?

    Delta Toons unable to finish (PC)

    Due to me leaving the game for a while, I have all three Delta Recruits that didn't complete their missions before the mission revamp. I have seen posts on here about how to get those missions in the available tab, but it only seems to work for two of the missing three arcs. For the life of me, I cannot activate the Breen Invasion arc. On the Fed toon, I have played and finished all arcs up to Dyson, skipped all the others, and ran Spectres and Nimbus before my hiatus. The mission that starts the arc "Cold War" does not appear in my 'available tab.

    Have yet to try the other two (KDF and Rom) but I doubt they will be different, will update if anythign changes.

    Any thoughts or suggestions for this issue?
