Dyson ate my characters! *WARNING* Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:22 AM PST Dyson battle zone and command are currently bugged, if your character goes there, you will not be able to log that character in. Going there crashes the game. [link] [comments]

Crash upon logging into character. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:22 AM PST One of my characters is in the Dyson Sphere Battlezone and as soon as I log into that character the game crashes mid loading screen. (Like the new crash window btw) Did fixing Uneasy Allies cause something to break in the Battlezone since it both uses Solanae assets? [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:06 AM PST So, I finally took a minute to actually look around at the bridge and noticed something. Not one of my staff is seated at their correct station! My First Officer (who is a science officer/temporal agent) is sitting at the helm console, my Science Officer/Pilot is at the Ops station, my Tactical Officer is at one of the random panels on the rear wall instead of at her station, and my Operations Officer is nowhere t kn be found. When I checked Sickbay and Engineering, my Chief Enigneer and CMO were both completely missing! Then, when I returned to the bridge, everyone there had switched places except the First Officer who was still sitting at the helm... [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:26 AM PST I bought it for 150 Lobi thinking that the "Terran - Armband" is awarded, as it says in the description that the above costume is included. I honestly felt a bit scammed after finding out that the armband is nowhere to be found and that I needed to search the internet to know that it is not included. Although the picture and the overall desciption indicate it is. This is either intentional or a bug that is years old, an older Reddit post has mentioned that the Armband is not awarded through the "Outfit Box - Terran Empire Jupiter Outfit (Leeta's Variants)" but instead the "Outfit Box - Terran Empire Odyssey Outfit". Can the picture please be updated or the description? Or perhaps the Armband be added to the contents of the pack? I'm probably not the only person that felt that way. Why do costume boxes not have a list of their contents anyhow? [link] [comments]
Dyson Joint Command Causes Game Crash Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:20 AM PST Attempting to log in on a character located at Dyson Joint Command causes STO to CTD. Attempting to relog does not offer opportunity for safe map transfer. Considering they share many textures and objects, this is likely related to the similar issue with the Dyson Ground BZ. Cryptic: Incident report 119bb0/ticket ID #100,531. [link] [comments]
Can't load character, crash at 40% Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:20 AM PST Anyone else having this issue? one character always crashes, while a different one loads fine. [link] [comments]

Pointless Spitballing - STO Adversary Bundle Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:38 AM PST So, while many have speculated about the intent / contents of a "non-Fed" anniversary bundle, I thought I'd engage in a bit of infantile wishlisting and pointless speculation on what I'd like to see. Just because. So here's the inspiration – the old "Adversary" set from AMT, bringing back fond memories! What would its STO counterpart look like? I'm thinking a mix of KDF, Romulan, Jem'hadar and cross-faction designs. Jem and Rom are effectively omni-faction, but overall I think any expensive bundle would need to be less than 50% KDF to keep interest up. Assume 10 ships to match the Feds. KDF: - Bird of Prey. The most ubiquitous Klingon vessel of all, in terms of its number of appearances, and one of only two classes to have a recurring "hero" example – the IKS Rotarran from DS9. Also thematically appropriate for Romulans. The obvious alternative design is a scout version, swapping a weapon for a secondary deflector (4/1 + Secdef?) to match the class' original description, and Temporal spec to match both its longevity and tactical flexibility. - D7 Battlecruiser. The only serious competitor to the BoP in the iconic Klingon stakes, it makes up for its comparatively few appearances by having a variant turn up in EVERY incarnation of Trek except Picard (to date). A full-intel version would nicely fit the class' role in TOS (where they accompany Klingon espionage shenanigans) and Surgical Strikes 3 would fit the fighting style. An accurate (movie) K't'inga skin is also long overdue, and hopefully make the Romulan skin from AoY finally available. - Sarcophagus Carrier. If you're after hero ships, this is the only one apart from the Rotarran; obviously ancient but recognisably Klingon it's the least controversial of the DSC S1 designs, plus this bundle needs a Klingon carrier. Full MW spec fits with T'kuvma's refitting of it to compete with modern designs. Another variation could be to add DSC Era Bird of Prey frigates. - Vor'cha. TNG/DS9's iconic Klingon cruiser, with a superb T6 version in the C-store but saddled with a launch-era model. Just a modern-standard Vor'cha model would be a selling point, but a 5/3 setup would fit with a ship that was designed to be the epitome of forward firepower, plus command spec to fit its role as the flagship in TNG Romulan. - D'deridex. In a narrow field, THE iconic Warbird has to be here. It's screaming to have intel spec as what else could represent TNG era Romulans? - T'Liss Warbird. The original Romulan and back for ST:Picard. Pilot spec never really made sense for what was a stealthy heavy weapons platform; MW seems better for me as the ship in "Balance of Terror" was explicitly an experimental weapon testbed. - Mogai Warbird. It's bundled with the Kurak and Arbiter, but a poorer battlecruiser than either; switch to a 5/3 layout and perhaps pilot seating (hey, if the Sovereign can do it…). Jem'Hadar. - Attack Ship. Has to be here somewhere and a second ex-promo ship for the bundle. As very early promo ships, the Jem'hadar Strike Ships are pretty underwhelming apart from their (admittedly outstanding) trait. A vanguard attack ship with 5/2 and pilot spec – making it the equal of other races' best – and possibly a slightly reduced turn rate and no wingmen, would put this as a top-line escort. Cross-Faction In addition to the "formal" factions, including STO's two "pseudo-factions" – Cardassians and Ferengi – would, I think, significantly broaden the pack's appeal to the wider audience. So the last two would be T6 variants of the Galor and D'kora marauder, both ships with a very strong claim to being iconic adversaries. [link] [comments]

Encountered major crash, now can't load character without crashing Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:47 AM PST Was trying to go to the Dyson sphere via transwarp to do my endeavors, when my game crashed at 40% map load. Now the character in question, Mojo@istvaanshogaatsu, crashes at the same point when trying to reload the game. I attempted to log a GM ticket for the stuck toon, but received a "cannot connect. try again later" alert in-game. I tried waiting 15 minutes before trying to log back in to see if maybe the game cleared cache or something, but no joy. The crash processing service incident ID for my latest crash is 119dbf. Plox halp, get my character unstuck! Platform: PC. [link] [comments]
You can get up to the second level in Assault on Terok Nor Posted: 06 Feb 2020 05:28 AM PST If you use Assimilate Distinctiveness (from the B.A.T.D. Extractor) on the people standing above :D Exploit? probably, but you can't use it to skip the puzzle, there's an invisible wall preventing you from jumping down on the other side of the shield. Surprisingly Useful/Useless Mission Rewards? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 05:03 AM PST The other day, while playing through some missions on an alt, I picked up the Na'kuhl Temporal Operative Personal Shield from Future Proof > The Temporal Front and I was surprised at how useful it is, particularly for a character that doesn't have any store equipment. It got me to thinking about items that are particularly useful or particularly useless as mission rewards. For me, a notably useless mission reward is the Ophidian Cane. I'm not even sure you can still get it, but it's just as well considering. The Triolic Pattern Enhancer is another one that's not terribly useful, but at least was a nice idea. What about you guys? Will we get Starfleet 2385 uniforms after today’s patch? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 06:47 AM PST Now when we saw the Starfleet 2385 uniforms in the 3rd episode of Star Trek Picard will we get it after today's patch? Or maybe C-Store or Lobi? Or Picard lockbox in couple of months? [link] [comments] |
