    Instead of just rolling over and exploding, why not have them veer out of control, have visual effects of life pods detaching from the hull, that kinda thing?

    The Sovereign Has Become The Most Underutilized Ship In History

    Since it first burst onto the screen in First Contact I think the Sovereign class is one of the prettiest designs ever put out into the Star Trek universe.

    Sleek modern, and powerful, but with elements you could trace back to TMP. It was a worthy successor to the Galaxy class -- but it never actually was... and that's my point.

    Obviously there are specific reasons it never made an appearance in DS9 despite multiple fleet actions. Much like Cryptic is doing now, the Sovereign was "exclusive" to the TNG movies. A special event ship not for the small screen.

    That I can understand. Now however, and especially with the release of the Picard countdown comic, the Sovereign has been completely pushed aside so the writers could retcon the Odyssey class to replace it just 5 years after Nemesis?!

    That ship now appears in the 2380s and is seemingly the flagship of choice by the 2410s. That boxes the lifespan of the Sovereign to basically about 10-15 years.

    How is this ship not at the very least replacing the Excelsior class as the fleet workhorse, a ship designed 100 years earlier?

    The Sovereign was billed as the peak of Starfleet engineering and yet no one has ever given this ship its due. With the nonsensical retcon of the Odyssey -- a ship originally created 30 years later -- it looks like it never will.

    Best space weapons

    I consistently see ppl ask what is the best endgame torpedo, beam or cannons. The answer to this question, in my opinion is not any specific weapon. Now obviously you want all your weapons upgraded to epic and for them to be re-engineered to fit your playstyle. 1st you want all your reps at max to get the +2% bonus damage from rep weapons. Once your max rep start looking at all the weapons with the word advanced in them and the set bonuses they provide. With the extra +2% damage on those weapons, procs they provide and set bonuses your getting the most bang for your buck. Clearly you want the same damage type on all weapons and I shouldn't need to say that but I will just in case. One thing to remember most ppl don't notice is the visuals slots for your ship. You can use these slots to fit in mods that complete set bonuses. Even tho it's only for visuals if that mod is part of a set your using then adding another to a visual slot will count towards the set bonus! Im gonna keep this short I just see many ppl ask this question and I hope this helps.

    Hi,

    I have a Romulan Captain who has sided with the Federation. I read this on STO Gamepedia:

    The Kelvin Vengeance-class Intel Dreadnought Cruiser is a Tier 6 Dreadnought Cruiser which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters.

    I have been reading older Reddit posts as recent as two months that the Kelvin Dreadnought cannot be unpacked by a Romulan Captain.

    Can someone confirm for a fact that it will unpack for my Romulan Captain Federation Alligned?

    Im about to purchase it off the Exchange.

    Hey folks, I just opened an Infinity Pack, and can't really decide between what ship I should get. I am on Fed Tact toon. I heard some good feedback on the Atlas Dread and Mirror Strike Wing Escort. Though there are some other ships in the box that maybe also good. Any recommendations?

    When I saw the DSC-Connie Bridge last year in series I began hoping that the Release of the Miracle Worker-Connie would contain it. The disappointment grew when I realized it wasn´t. Since then I hoped that the anniversary would bring this piece of Bridge-Orgasm and I am truly ready to pay for the Bridge :-D and now with the Legacy Pack incoming my hope is at its peak. I remember partying just for the release of the Discovery-Crossfield Bridge, and if Cryptic is convinced to bring the DSC-Connie Bridge in the near future I would pay any price for it, sincerely :-D So Great Gods of Cryptic, hear my prayers and release the DSC-CONNIE-PIKE Bridge :-)

    I redeemed the 2399 Starfleet uniform in the C-Store but the option isn’t listed in the tailor — any ideas?

    I can't seem to find the costume to equip it from the tailor despite having claimed it in the C-Store under the promotions tab. Logging out and back in doesn't seem to fix the issue. Where do I find it?

    The Borg Exo-suit costume is great, but if it's going to remain its own category, it should offer an Assimilated skin complexion override option

    And yes, I know that the assimilated skin is a feature of the paid Lib. Borg species. I just think that for this particular costume, since it's locked to its own category and doesn't have any overlap with anything else, it wouldn't be too much to offer this small space-barbie option for the "full" Borg experience.

    The alternative is me posting on here constantly about how much I want a Species Change token in the C-Store. Making a new character is just not an option. My main is almost 8 years old; it's got so much irreplaceable/character-bound/non-transferable stuff on it that I can't feasibly abandon it. But when I started I didn't know jack about any of the paid species and just made a character (not to mention all this Borg content was the stuff of fantasy).

    Please just let me RP my Borg drone!
