    I've seen a lot of posts recently sharing unwanted humble bundle codes from the Jingle Jam. This is a great thing to do but I strongly advise people not to put the codes themselves in the post as this makes it highly likely they'll be swept up by bots so no one will get to enjoy the pack. The easiest method is probably to message the first person who DMs or replies to the post and there are other alternatives such as hiding the code in an image. Anything is better than just posting it and it'll make sure someone gets to benefit from your generosity! :)

    T6 DSC ships?

    Hey guys, been a little over a year since I played STO. I'd like to get back into it and do a DSC character. Are there any ships (C-store available, I mean) in endgame from the DSC era? Even if it's just skins over other ships like they did with AOY? I know Walker and Crossfield are gambling rewards only, but any DSC era ship at the T6 level would do. Just trying to have a consistent character.

    I'm just posting this because we were having a discussion on it a week or so ago and the idea that someone is trying to artificially manipulate the market...well it may be true....as much as I hate the whole conspiracy idea etc.

    As late as April (ish...I forget the exact date) I purchased Dil on Xbox for 140 during a phoenix event...the price it had sat at for a few years give or take, since then it has now shot up over 400...just a week ago it was around 320 and when I checked on the weekend there were a couple of people trading about 400 (what a jump!). But then I noticed something odd. A bunch of the zen on the market all disappeared, then 5 minutes later a posting went up, 5000 dil at 450. That's a full 50 points higher than what it was selling for from others. 10 minutes later another posting went up with 5000 dil at 455, then 10 minutes later another 5000 went up at 460. By this time the dil at 400 was down to only about 2 or 3000 left.

    Now, if this has happened before, someone buys up a bunch of dil when there isn't a busy market, then steadily does creeping posts like this where they make a big jump then slowly creep the price up from there it would definitely explain how the market has tripled inside of 6 months. It seems much more than just normal price inflation.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

    Question About the Gamma Recruits

    i joined the recent Gamma Recrcuitment event just to unlock the last admiralty slot on my character and as i understood the admiralty slot is supposed to be an account wide unlock once you reach level 10 in three admiralty campaigns

    i have reached level 10 Admiralty in:
    Klingon
    Romulan
    Ferengi

    and level 9 in Federation

    but the last admiralty slot on all my OTHER character still says Reach level 10 in 3 gamma recruit campaigns

    is it a bug? have i misunderstood the way things work?

    and if i have misunderstood how the hell do i unlock that last slot on my fed/KDF/ROM characters?

    Where are all the other mirror factions?

    I've been thinking about different factions within the mirror universe, and their lacking in STO (well not entirely, there are some mirror t5-ships, but I cannot put my finger on any other backstory than the ship descriptions). Do they even exist in the mirror universe, and how would they differ from their prime-counterpart? How come the Terrans are the only ones to posess the technology to make incursions to prime side?

    The Mirror Borg. How would they be like? Would they still be aggressively trying to assimilate everything (with even more devastating weaponry, ships, etc.), or would they go more along the lines of spreading their knowledge/tech on a friendly basis? "Friendship is not irrelevant".

    "The Mirror Bad Guys-Trio". The Dominion, Romulans, Klingons. Would they be the mainstay enemies of the Terran Empire? How would their actions differ from prime universe? A ROM-KDF alliance?

    The Mirror Ferengi. Completely subjugated or a nastier version of the prime Ferengi in the style of the Orion syndicate?

    The Mirror *Inser any faction here*. Please tell what would it be, and how it would differ from the prime stuff. Not trying to push too far into fan fiction territory, just to figure out some small characteristics/details out of interest.

    Are star trek mission crates back? one just rocked up on my door?

    I didnt order then and they were cancelled but one was delivered today with a code for a Suliban cell ship for sto.

    Capitalizing on a T6 promo pack ship with the exchange

    I've been blessed by the promo pack gods once again and I'd like to sell it on the exchange and pick up some other rare ships for my alt toons. My question is, which promo pack ship is a sure thing for 1.5 billion EC? I never see a Temporal Light Cruiser there, or a TMP D7/Tliss. I'm sure the 26th century dreads (universe, durgath and thrai) would sell well but I'm conflicted. Which would you sell and why?

    Any downside to buying fleet ships other than single-player and no trait?

    So I've settled into a one ship per one alt play method, where each character plays a different class of ship with a themed crew, uniforms, etc. I have a healthy roster of admiralty cards with my existing account-wide C-Store ship unlocks. If I know I'm only going to use a ship on one given character and I'm good on traits (currently using the Arbiter, Gagarin and T'Pau traits on each character), would there be any downside to just purchasing fleet ships for each new alt rather than spending the Zen? This way I could save my Zen for Promo boxes to help with those big-ticket EC ships (Donnie, Connie, Crossfield, etc.)

    does STO not like steam gift cards?

    i pretty much used money that was left form a steam gift card to buy 500 zen to get phenoix boxes, i got this message..

    "Due to recent purchase acitvity, your account is temporally unable to sell Zen on the exchange"

    ok, why? what activity? is it the gift card? that is the only thing i can think of because i have not added zen in months, not counting my monthly zen.
