| Posted: 10 Dec 2019 09:54 AM PST Anyone know if there are any plans to update some of the older ship visuals to the same standard as the recent discovery and Jem'hadar ships such as the Prometheus, intrepid and Luna classes? These designs did get updated a few years ago now but I believe this was before the most recent lighting engine update. The visual standards over this past year have gone through the roof with cryptic pumping out visually stunning content over and over again and would be awesome to see some of the older ships receive some much needed TLC just like the vengeance recently did. | Analyzing the Mycelial Network Database post Posted: 10 Dec 2019 10:18 AM PST What stuck out for me was that list of astronomical bodies, so I ran them through the STO Wiki. Surprise, surprise - a lot of them relate to the Romulan campaign and the Elachi. N/A indicates no mission related to Elachi or anything that could potentially be tied to the Mycelial Network. (I would link to the STO Gamepedia, but I'm on mobile right now)

That's probably the farthest over 20 I've ever gotten. Does anyone know how or why I was able to do that? I was shopping for missions with the highest category points and then the highest dilithium. | What should I do with R&D materials? Posted: 10 Dec 2019 01:34 AM PST By doing personal endeavours, TFOs and other daily missions, I'm collecting loads of materials. Usually, I sell (individually) the most valuable on the exchange for easy EC, but I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, I've got thousands of materials, it's impossible to sell them individually (in order to maximize profits). Am I supposed to craft something? The only craftable thing that I'm interested in is the TR rifle, although I'm thinking about crafting the AEGIS set only for the visuals. People say that crafting common stuff (arrays, cannons, other easy to obtain things) is inefficient and useless so that's out of the question. Any tips? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||

Is it because nobody has heard of or plays this game? it says I can make a private match but when I go to that tab it just says leave so I don't know if that's just for decoration but this is really pissing me off. | Posted: 09 Dec 2019 12:57 PM PST Like every costume option from NPCs later made available to players the Breen armour is missing parts, specifically the single strap chest piece and the right shoulder cryo-tank gear worn by the Ak'ched. However, other than these two missing pieces it's actually more complete than any other NPC costume set in the game to date and all parts work well (apart from one wrist piece that doesn't change colour (type 2 right). I'm currently outfitting my Jem'Hadar crew in these (with my Sci BOFFs as H'ren, Tac as Ak'ched, and Eng as Vel'sh rather than as ranks) as I originally named them all after jötnar and the opportunity was too good to pass up.
