| Problems caused by DPS Parsing Posted: 01 May 2021 08:11 AM PDT I had a couple run ins in ISA with high-end DPS parser who were extremely toxic in the chat. I first thought it was caused by the competitive nature of achieving high-end DPS and didn't really pay it much attention. I'm working on unlocking the Adapted KHG set on one of my toon so I've been running ISA a lot more often than usual. And I just witnessed what I've been suspecting all along. A guy in our group (HC) simply went straight for the left Transformer after the initial wave and unleashed full alpha on it, ignoring the Probes and Generators, and simply keep going full alpha indefinitely. The Transformers simply repaired faster that he was damaging them, so he basically scored 120k DPS without significantly contributing at all. I know people with skyhigh DPS can ignore the Generators, but that's not the case here. Should it be fixed or should parsers simply go on wrecking TFO's by achieving good looking DPS in nonsensical ways? My point is that achieving good looking DPS while not contributing kills the very concept of the DPS chase. [link] [comments] | ||

| How can we get the Foundry back? Posted: 01 May 2021 08:00 AM PDT Seriously. Cryptic says they are short-handed and the covid crap has cut back on what they can do. This community would create endless content if cryptic would just let us. IIRC one of the main reasons Cryptic pulled it is because people were abusing the loot system. Can you not disable loot in foundry missions? Remove ALL rewards if you want. I would gladly not earn a single in-game thing just to be able to enjoy the stories the community would put their heart into. Cryptic says they don't have time to manage it. Then don't. Just turn it on and let us deal with the inevitable bugs. Make it known that CS tickets regarding weird things in foundry missions go straight in the trash. Make it so. [link] [comments] | ||

Fed toon, have a jem hadar one too and planing to get a Romulan and Klingon and TOS toons too, once the Delta Recruit starts on X box console, but mainly Feds. Active player for year and a half now and contribute regulary. The higher the fleet the better, need those hanger pets from the fleet. Let me know please [link] [comments] | ||

| Zen Store Science Ships for Torp Build Posted: 30 Apr 2021 10:21 PM PDT I'm currently having a lot of fun trying out different torp builds, but I think I might be missing a trick. I've tried the Eternal for a sci-heavy sci/torp build, and the Titan for a sci-light sci/torp, and the Temer for a straight up torp build. But I am wondering if there are any ships in the zen store, specifically science ships that I should be considering for this? INB4 - No lockbox ships recommendations thanks. And before someone mentions the 10th Anni bundle... I now finally have enough Zen for that and will get it when it comes back. I might consider a lobi ship, if you make a good enough case for it.
