| Hand phasers as toon outfit accessory Posted: 21 Mar 2021 06:46 AM PDT I like the TNG uniforms, so to stay within that look I always keep one of the standard issue hand phasers you can get from your replicator, and put it in one of the two ground weapon slots (I only ever really use one). With the Klingon Recruit event, I got started really for the first time on a KDF character, and I found out they have a dagger belt accessory for their outfits, just as standard. How come FEDs and ROMs don't have like a "Sidearm (Vanity)" option? TOS or TNG phasers/disruptors, without all the hologram interfaces and things. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 21 Mar 2021 01:00 AM PDT I've complained about this numerous times over the past few years, about why are there so many different schemes to the colors? Black is not the same black from a pair of pants, to a top off of a different outfit. What REALLLLY butters my biscuits is the "pale" shades that don't offer primary red or blue. I was trying to put wrist pieces on my Reman borg and the only thing that worked was the parts that came in the Zhat Vash outfit. Not what I wanted at all, but they were the only option for RED tac. Then the Mirror Universe sash belt is just as bad. While it will give you an option close to a bright color, it still comes out a pale version. Can we just update the system after 11 years??? Give us primary colors as a choice, and make the rest a color wheel option, or something. I'm no programmer, but with so many choices it has to eat up memory or something I'd think. | Anyone else having this problem? If so, how do I fix it? Posted: 21 Mar 2021 04:24 AM PDT Every time I logged in a toon, my toon always lags randomly, going in every direction. If I try to move it always comes back to the same spot (I also had problems with this in space). I know it's not internet problems because I have a very stable connection and the other players who I teamed up with on a TFO, I can see their ships move and attack perfectly when my ship gets stuck and moves out of control and lags back to the same spot in the beginning. I'm literally stuck in a tfo and unable to do anything. Eventually something happens and it decloaks, but I have no idea what. So, no strategic use there. It's utterly useless. You get a warning shot and are told not to come back again. Yet in this episode I just fly in and beam down with Pahvo just letting me do my thing. Is this explained at all in the mission? | Posted: 20 Mar 2021 07:10 PM PDT I saw a couple questions come up since the PS5 launched, and didn't see an answer to at least one of them, so I thought it best to pose it here but a bit more broadly: After playing on PS4 since launch on it, I want to make sure my account will be fine when I finally launch it on PS5. I saw someone say that they were concerned that it seemed like, as they were launching STO for the first time on PS5, they were being asked to agree to terms and disclaimers as if they were brand new to the game, and it scared them that they might risk losing/erasing their account by doing so. Can anyone put that concern to rest; are there any disclaimers/etc. that you have to agree to at launch on PS5 (even though you did so on PS4), and (if so) does agreeing to them affect your account? Aside from that, are there any pieces of info one should know in transitioning from PS4 to PS5--anything to avoid, or to do in preparation? Or is it literally just installing STO, launching it, and everything being right there as it is/was on PS4? Sorry if my concerns seem a little hyperbolic--I just would rather seem silly for asking than risk running into any unforeseen issues. Thank you in advance to anyone kind enough to answer! I've already done the chain and I've been checking the cluster for at least 2 weeks multiple times a day and the assignment hasn't popped up once. On my feds it usually pops every few days.
