It's just a strange thought I was having, one of those odd ideas that pop up whilst skimming the articles on Daystrom. Is it actually elaborated on at all during the mission? Then life happened and I took a damn long hiatus (maybe 2 years?). I'm back now but man things have changed. The downside is I've forgotten so much that I feel like I'm just stumbling around. | Help wrapping my head around ship tiers between basic, fleet, and upgrade versions... Posted: 21 Mar 2021 07:58 PM PDT I know each ship has pros and cons that make each one unique, but I just want to try and get a super simplified understanding of what tiers/upgrades are roughly on par with other things. So this is my understanding (skipping T1-4). If I'm missing something, well, that's why I'm making this post, so people can help me fill in/rearrange incorrect things lol.
Also I understand that MWs get an additional console slot on top of the default for their tier/class... but from my understanding the top tier ships are Fleet T5s that have been fully upgraded, and fleet grade T6's and fleet versions of non-fleet grade T6's upgraded to T6X? And am I correct in thinking that upgrading a Fleet version of a ship to U, X, or UX is only a one time expenditure and all other characters will be able to upgrade those fleet ships without spending up U or X tokens? I'm wondering because I plan on using upgrade items at some point, but I want to get the best use out of them that I can. Which, as far as I can tell, basically means I can get any ship to that top tier as long as it doesn't start as a default T5? Unless, are there fleet grade T5's that have 10 console slots like there are fleet grade T6's? [link] [comments] | ||

Just came back after a long hiatus and it looks like the Reputation Events are gone. But I see them still listed on my old characters, it's just new characters that says they are disabled. Can old characters still do the old rep marks system like Omega marks? Or is the interface just showing them even if they are disabled? I guess second question is the Nimbus missions. It looks like those are gone? So if I create a new character I can't get Law and the Nimbus Distress Radio? Is there any way to access any of the old content? It looks like a ton of it has been fitted like the missions where you space walk on DS9 which was one of my favorite missions :( [link] [comments] | ||
