    I never bothered about quad cannons, but thought I'd give them a try now.

    But...since we lack the ship descriptions on ps4 at the ship vendo, I'm not sure wich T4 to buy.

    Google tells me I get it from the Defiant's Sao Paulo variant. I'm a Kdf main but that fed chars was just on the rota (wich doesn't really matter for my question, but explains my lack of fed ships knowledge 😂). I guess that's the fed Tactical Escort.

    So there is a "standard" version for 8,500 dil and one for 127,000 dil. (discounts)

    And both say "variant unlockable" when scrolling till Sao Paulo variant. But WHERE ? 🤔

    And before I just follow my assumption,that I get the cannons only on the "expensive" variant, I figured out I ask here and look like an idiot 😁.

    Sry if this a super stupid question, playing the game since ps4 release...but never bothered much about skins and variants..so I'm swimming a bit here.

    Everyone hates and says Al Rivera and Andre Emerson are the cause of the state the game is in today. Ok that's swell and all, but what exactly can be done about it? What are YOU, as a supporter of the company their over, gonna do? Aside from constantly complaining on this sub. Believe me, I don't like the state of the game either, doesn't mean I'm gonna post on every page every day every post about how things have gone downhill. We already have enough negativity this year, and this sub which we use to get ideas, help, and look at other's game content, is drowning in negativity. Nobody needs that this year. By all means yes, go about change, be the person. But don't rain on everyone's parade every single post, or are we forgetting when ZEFilms took a break due to the negativity from some of y'all, over something he had no control over? Some of y'all are worse than the ESD Zone chat.

    Newish player question

    Got to level65 am starting reputation projects my question is this. Should I grind through them to tier 5/6 then start going for the offered sets OR just requisition them as they become available?? If I wait can I still get the ones that were previously offered?? Any help would be appreciated

    Disconnected from login server

    I've had STO on ps4 forever and it has always worked perfectly. Recently my ps4 decided to go to sleep permanently after 2 years of fun. So I decided to get STO on pc finally. So it finally finished downloading and everything this morning, so I decided to play it. I was able to pick and choose my character and everything but as soon as I try to get in to an actual server to play, it just disconnects me immediately and says "disconnected from login server." If anybody has some help that would be great!

    Discovery Space Set - Bonuses on Wiki different than in game

    On Wiki the set has 3 bonuses: Set 2: Nothing is Lost Forever Set 3: Mycelial Lightning Set 4: The Power of Math

    while in-game it only shows: Set 3: Mycelial Lightning

    does anyone here has them and can confirm that set bonuses from wiki work?

    4 years of causal playing paid off

    After its release on PS4 in 2016, I have been playing Star Trek online casually, usually around Christmas time for the Winter Wonderland event (which I don't even play to unlock the ship, just play for fun).

    For the past 2 years though, I've just been logging in and doing duty officer missions, admiralty, and checking the exchange.

    I've never spent a penny on the in game transactions so it's been my goal from the start to save up enough ec for one of the cool ships. I finally decided on the kelvin Intel dreadnought, as I loved it from watching into darkness.

    Today, after making my biggest sale on the exchange, I've accrued 230M ec. Bascially enough to buy the ship.

    I think this is finally endgame for me. I treated myself to the boolean cannon from the lobi store and intend to get the undine armour costume when I can. But I'm finally where I wanted to be. I'll continue to play the winter wonderland, and any new single player missions they release, but I can stop worrying about currency now. I'll try and get all the trophies unlocked on ps4.

    Mixed Armaments Synergy

    If I have cannons and a beam, and the cannon activates first (giving the bonus to the beams) does that prevent the next beam activation from giving the damage bonus to the cannons?

    Or does would anything in that 10 seconds trigger the bonus, regardless of the order they activate?

    What is going on with the Voth in "Storming the Spire"?

    They're just zipping around the spire, making them nearly impossible to get them into a fight with slower and bulkier ships. Or any ship I guess.

    It doesn't seem right to me. Or is this sort of behavior intended?

    Kobali Crisis... dead end from the start?

    Running into a problem trying to get my Legendary Rom Toon to get the Kobali Crisis missions. I got thru the Delta Quadrant arc by skipping up until All That Glitters, played that through, and got the Kobali Crisis.

    But all I got was one quick dialogue box with General Q'Nel. Nothing with Harry Kim. No ability to access the transporter. No motivational speaking around the city. Sure, there's the Open Missions popping up, but the ability to unlock the story to get the transporter so I can - full disclosure - run the elite compensation to build out the rep set just isn't coming to pass.

    Anyone else run into this?

    What to do with extra CXP in 2020

    I can file commendation reports but all I see in the rewards section is like a small amount of Expertise. Can you still get fleet marks and if not what options for the extra CXP is left in 2020?

    Which Lower Decks character(s) would you like to see in game?

    Now I know there are going to be some folks who want nothing to do with Lower Decks, and that they see it as nothing but an abomination. I'm obviously not one of those people. I actually enjoy the show, and got to thinking it'll be easier for STO to have them in-game.

    That's one of the perks of it being an animated show, the actors are already in a recording booth, when it comes to Lower Decks. Surely, since STO is working more with CBS it would be easier to get this cast to do it, maybe not but this cast seems the more plausible.

    With that being said, if we could only get one of them which character would you like to see them bring in?

    Assault Formation Theta not working properly.

    Have the devs broken Assault Formation Theta? I just started playing my legendary T'liss torp boat again, only to find that the trait this ship comes with; which is perfect for ambush torp boats, no longer works when using the Enhanced Battle Cloak to briefly decloak and fire torpedoes. It used to work when firing torps this way and was incredibly fun and not OP. Now when I fire torps while briefly uncloaking, no more bonuses or HYIII, I have to fully decloak now and waste the potential of my build. Is this a bug or intended? Why bundle the T'liss (an Enhanced Battle Cloak ship) with this perfectly synergistic trait, if this wasn't the intent? This trait should work with Enhanced Battle Cloak torpedo attacks and is clearly how this ship was intended to play. This needs to be fixed.
