Thoughts on one aspect of The Khitomer Discord

This is an incredibly minor gripe, but it is something that bugs me to no end.

At the end of The Khitomer Discord, when your character is declared to be a traitor, the characterization of Captain Shon and Captain Koren is way, way, WAY off for Federation players.

I get why for Federation and Klingon Aligned players the captain who aligns with your player avatar during the battle changes. But the character logic behind Shon and Koren's reactions as a federation captain do not add up at all.

For starters, Captain Shon is extremely by the book. He is a firm believer in doing things the right way. So while he knows you, he would absolutely bring you in, regardless of if you are a Starfleet captain or not, to prove your innocence in court.

His decision to side with you as a starfleet captain, completely undermines that character trait. It makes him come off as a hypocrite simply because you are his friend.

On the flipside, Koren has fought by your side. She has seen your honor firsthand. She knows your character is beyond reproach. Especially after you have spent who knows how many months trying to catch and stop J'ula at person risk to your well being.

She knows you wouldn't align with J'ula unless something else is going on. She would argue in your defense. She would come to your aid.

Having her instantly turn on your character because of the accusation of J'mpok doesn't make sense.

Put another way, the Klingon version of this episode is better than the Federation experience because it is more true to these two characters. And I honestly wish the Klingon ending space battle was the only one for all players.

How to start Yesterdays War?

Im a new player and level 63. I just finished the Iconian War and i want to continue the story. I looked on the mission journal and it says yesterday war is next but its greyed out and i cant start it.

What do i have to do to start it? I have 100% completion for all previous chapters. Am i missing something? I also get hails from Geordi but it just says i have nothing for you.

Do I have to wait longer to access it? I only finished the iconian war earlier today so maybe thats it?

Any help would be appriecated.

Are raptors always sluggish?

Recently started using my kdf tac toon and idk if its me but the qin heavy raptor seems very sluggish it says my turn rate is like 42.2 degrees a sec or something like that but it doesn't feel like that feels much slower

Ship Unpacking Issue.

Hi folks. I opened an old Dominion/Cardassian box with a Fed toon and received the Mirror Universe advanced escort. When I press "use" no option comes up to unpack it. Says I don't meet the requirements. Sent it to my Rom/Fed and still no good. Both toons have space in their inventory and shipyards. Looked around and couldn't find any info on the issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Rich Dilithium Mine rewarding either 10,000 or 15,000 dilithium during bonus event, any reason for the inconsistency?

I noticed that for a while now I have been receiving either 10,000 dilithium or 15,000 dilithium from the Rich Dilithium Mine during the Bonus Event. Is there a reason for this inconsistency? I tried reproducing it but it appears to be random.

All my characters are in the same fleet, not running any assignments, and are not running admiralty.

A point-based bridge seating system would be nice

When you stand up a new C store ship, it has the set 5 seating slots. You get 10 bridge slot points, (11 if it's hybrid). Three points in one slot gets you a Commander seat of the specialty of your choice. Two gets a Lt Commander, etc. If the ship provides a hybrid seat, you can drop the one point on a seat to make it a cross-trained seat.

I know that would cut into revenues by eliminating the various versions players would have to buy, but from a player perspective (this player, anyway), that kind of customization would be nice.

How to play a command ship?

So I've decided to use S31 command battlecruiser as main ship for a toon, but it's my first time to fly a command ship. Is there some way to utilize the full spec command power, or some powerful command skill? Or should I just ignore the command seatings and use it like a normal beam ship. I do have a Lorca torp in front for the set, not sure if a CF is needed for it. Thanks for your advices.

What´s the best way to earn credits fast?

There are some lockbox ships i´d like to get like the Crossfield Class or the Kelvin Constitution; however i dont wanna go through 100 boxes for it. On the community market theyre usually up for a couple 100 Million credits; but right now i only have 5 Million. What are good ways to get Credits fast? Journey through the Galaxy is often mentioned, i can clear the whole Beta Quadrant there so far.

Current Best Federation Starting Faction?

I'm about to start this game, and want to start as Federation. I found a post in this sub explaining why TOS Starfleet was the best Federation start, but that was last year. I've very much enjoyed the new Discovery TV series. Can folks in the community help me understand the differences between the three Federation factions for a new player starting right now?
