- OK, the Legendary Bundle is lacking for Klingons. As a suggestion, could the already cross-faction consoles be account sharable for KDF toons when you buy it? Starfleet was all about sharing their consoles with others!

| Posted: 12 Feb 2020 08:41 AM PST With Risa a few months away, here is a few ideas that I have in mind for the summer event ship this year: Captain Rios's La Sirena from Picard, (It would make a nifty little pilot ship from what ive seen of it) T6 Risian Luxury Cruiser-which some people have theorized as the likely choice for this year, since we got a T6 Risian corvette last year. (Although there is a part of me that would kill for a variant that would look like the Yamato from StarBlazers with warp nacelle outriggers) Or the easiest idea from a production standpoint: Give everyone a Nagus class marauder and call it a day. | Posted: 12 Feb 2020 12:43 AM PST Honestly using this kit feels like a war crime but it's really fun to use so that makes it okay. Unlike in space, though, you either can be assimilated, or you can't. There's no "placeholder Breen ship" version on the ground. Note that all assimilated enemies have the stats and abilities of basic Borg drones. They put up a surprisingly good fight, though, it's pretty much like a Security Team for non-Tac captains, like the Borg Orbital Cutting Beam is an Orbital Strike for non-Eng captains. Breen - Turns out their suits are just for show. I was able to assimilate Thot Par, the Breen Captain. Fek'ihri - Not even Godzilla can stand up to my nanites, apparently. Nakuhl - You think that time travelers would have prepared some sort of inoculation to assimilation, right? Vaadwaur - Does this make me an honorary Kobali now? Also I couldn't assimilate the Vaadwaur tank boss, unfortunately. Cardassians - Notice the inconsistencies with equipment. The female Gil seen here has no armature or eyepiece. Klingons and Friends - Also have some inconsistencies in equipment. It seems like female mobs seem to be missing armature and/or eyepieces more often than not. On the plus side, you can make your very own Assimilated Gorn friend! Romulans - None of the female Romulans have armatures for some odd reason. Devidians(!) - This is just hilarious. You can see bits of the eyepieces sticking out of their spooooky heads. Turns out Starfleet's better at assimilating than the Borg are, eh? The H'urq, Founders, and the Tzenkethi are not able to be assimilated, unfortunately. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 Feb 2020 07:26 AM PST So I bounced back into the game for a bit a while back (after a number of years out, I have the accolade for using the first iteration of the crafting system, if that's a clue,) used my level 60 boost, schlepped around for a bit, and wandered off again. and now I bounced back again, and thinking I might enjoy this 10th anniversary stuff, wombled off to visit Abraham Lincoln. This should be fun and a bit challenging, I thought. First mission was OK. It was the second that turned into a screaming disaster. So it turns out that I can handle most things, but everything from and including the Assimilated Iconian was a nightmare. I think I must have respawned 20 or 30 times on the ground portion of the borg and iconian fights, and probably an equal or higher number on the space segment (essentially, they'd melt my shields inside of 3 seconds and then just overwhelm me, I only got through that by chain-respawning: kill, die, respawn, rinse, repeat. This isn't a "what did I do wrong" type post, I know what it was. It was running a 65 captain against 65 level opposition using Mark 10 equipment in a T5 Avenger (which was last updated properly when antiproton was essentially endgame facemelt.) Mistakes were made. The general gist is "how do I now catch my equipment up to match my current level without too much stress" (and preferably, not too much use of the C-Store, I thought ship prices were bad in 2012.) | PSA for stuck new players (PC) Posted: 12 Feb 2020 09:55 AM PST I have recently seen several post on players getting stuck on certain romulan stories while leveling and not being able to complete them, while I don't know exactly what the problem is with the warehouse level I would like to offer what I was told by an employee oh so many moons ago for my first character. If you get stuck, skip the level and come back to it later after you have more experience and know the game mechanics better, you don't have to play all the levels to go to the next one, yes it breaks immersion a little, but it is better than getting frustrated and quitting or letting it hinder your experience. Plus if you really love the game you will replay the stories anyways, but skipping one and going back is perfectly normal. In addition if you are having a hard time and can't level up try a couple of TFO's and then get back to the story.
