    Since people are showing off their TOS fitting discovery uniform variants... Here was the one I rocked for a while. Always disliked the blue version and thought the show should've used the proper TOS coloring from the start.

    So, just poked at the lobi store on my fedrom for the first time and here's what I see:

    A couple of the outfits state in the description that they're for Fed characters only, the only ferengi outfit visible are Quark's and the Grand Nagus costume - rest are missing (descriptions on those two say "for all characters"), terran empire disco uniform is showing but "for federation characters only" while the mirror odyssey and mirror leeta packs are missing, tholian silk scarf is present and "for all characters" but the tholian silk robes are missing, section 31 badge is visible but "for Fed characters only". Ferengi earrings are also present, but since they're "for all female characters" that's expected.

    And I'm not even going to get into the arbitrary nonsense of "swimwear separates" vs "swimwear sets" vs "off duty" vs... (ok, I'm stopping now)

    T1 through T5 ships are "useless" now, due to:

    • All T6 ships scale
    • Three free T6 event ships per year
    • At least one free T6 Zen ship per year with events
    • At least two "free" T6 fleet ships per character from Fleet ship modules via Reps

    The consoles and skin unlocks are nice, but most players will never spend actual money on a ship that they won't actually fly. Make them Dil sinks.

    ENT ships in STO

    I'm trying to list all the Enterprise era ships that can be purchased in the game. For Starfleet we have the NX-01 in T1 and T6 unobtanium forms. T5u D'Kyr. Tellarite Pralim. Andorian pilot escorts.

    Romulans have T'Varo in T1 and T6. Suliban carrier, right? What else?

    Looking for more gear for a 'Mad Scientist' vibe

    Currently working on turning my Cardassian tactical toon into a Borg-cutting mad scientist themed build. Nothing meta, just purely for flavor and fun.

    Now of course the limitations of being a tac officer instead of a sci officer makes this particular setup more difficult as I have to rely on universals.

    Right now I have Bio-toxin Injection and Assimilate but I'm looking for more things to add to the theme. What other universal or tactical kit modules would fit the flavor of mad scientist?

    does anyone else feel like the kentari mass-produced missiles shouldn't be locked to 1 per ship? it feels so weak and giving us the ability to cover our ships in the weapon wouldn't even help much. it would just bring a bit of a point to actually getting it and using it in my opinion

    Ships possibly used by the Rangers in STO

    SPOILERS MAYBE!

    Well, i have watched last episode of Picard. And i'm a bit interested to know more about the Fenris Rangers; and they catch too much my attention, to the point that i made a small background on what i believe is their emblem.

    However, since they are civilans with not so much goverment support, they don't have a lot of fancy ships. And that made me think: What kind of ships they could be flying (aside of small craft) that you can fly here on STO? I believe a lot of people might want to try and make a "Fenris Ranger Toon", so here i'm leaving a list of what ships i believe they could be flying, so the space barbie is "adequate" to anyone that could try. I'm considering ships that would be small and old... you know, cheaper to maintain.

    So, until we get the Speed Freighter from Captain Ríos here at STO, i made a list of other possible ships that might fit.

    Here is the list of ships i advice to pick. If you feel some ship could be added, tell us wich one and why :P (I'm only considering T6 Ships, so ships like the Tuffli or the Na'Far aren't here)

    1.- Might be a good ship for the Fenris Rangers, BUT only if they adquired the ship after Delta Rising events. Or make it a generic alien ship.

    2.- Not sure about the in-universe launch date, but might fit good, in other games, the Kumari is a "factionless" ship. Same for the Tellarite ship.

    3.- Uh? IDK how this ship got here... is not like this ship had been hickjacked by some guys long time ago... (:

    4.- Well, some BoPs have gone into the hands of some Ferengi Pirates :P

    5.- Similar to the Andorian ships, not sure of the real age, but the style of "old and rust" might fit.

    6.- I have read that the Dhelan had been on the design boards from long time. So building one isn't impossible if you have a small organization with enough resources. There had been some Dhelans flying around before the formal establishment of the Romulan Republic, anyways, maybe other Romulans sold them for profit after Romulus.

    Weaponized time crystals.

    Does anyone know what effects this trait besides antiproton damage? I put on an old AP build and got it to 41 each tick and 10% of my total damage. Wondering if there is any other way to boost this.

    T6 Warbird advice

    So...what I'm used to is a pre-t6-scaling leveling playstyle of broadside/shields-down/turn-n-torp with Fed science vessels (and I've primarily stuck with Intrepid/Pathfinder, at that). I haven't even played with the specialization stuff to figure out how it works.

    Now I'm trying to figure out which warbird to get for my fed-aligned romulan science officer...

    Alliance Battle Cruiser and Fleet Support

    So I noticed when using fleet support in the new battle cruiser it summons another Alliance battle cruiser.

    I think it's a really nice touch.

    Edit: it doesn't always summon the Alliance cruiser. :(

    ...and no 5-digit code ever arrives. I did not activate this. There doesn't seem to be any foul play going on with my account - not sure whats going on. Anyone have any insight on this?

    UPDATE:Support chat resolved the issue - but its still odd. Had to use a new gmail address and the two-factor code came through. Years of using the same email and suddenly it doesn't work. I never requested two-factor to be turned on, so it just activated on its own - support said they had many tickets today for the same thing and that if you really want it turned off, it takes another ticket. I'm back in game but I can't help but have a leery feeling about all this.
