QoL Request: A "This Queue's Dead, Jim" Button Posted: 13 Jan 2020 11:23 PM PST So, after my third leaver penalty today due to queues being bugged (each time due to an enemy being stuck in the map/terrain elements), forcing all of us to warp out and suffer the consequences... If a button could be implemented that kicks everyone from the queue, if all remaining players press it and agree, it would save me from going grey before 25. Else, a /stuck command for enemy mobs would be nice, too. Please and thank you! [link] [comments]

Player housing or even a expanded place where you could make your own ready room Posted: 14 Jan 2020 09:37 AM PST This was put in another thread but what if they made it so you could have an apartment on a star base or something or even the ability to put stuff on your ship like inside of it making it better for end game [link] [comments]

Maybe reading to deeply into this but.. Posted: 14 Jan 2020 10:11 AM PST Is the message from the devs now, don't buy lock box ships as they'll end up in the zen store account wide one day? I used to be a self confessed whale having pretty much everything in this game bar the odd ship here or there. Recently I've taken a bit of a back seat as I've opened a new restaurant and real life has got a little busier, I still sign in daily to run my fleets etc but long story short... Don't buy lock box keys? Save my cash and buy from zen store when it comes around? [link] [comments]

[unpopular opinion] lockbox and lobi ships aren't worth more just because they cost more. Posted: 13 Jan 2020 04:39 PM PST As a general rule those ships tend to have more bells and whistles, and they tend to have multiple different specialization seats, but some are plain awful (freedom frigate anyone?) Meanwhile many of the best ships, including some iconic ships are in the c-store. Just because the Miradorn is a lockbox ship doesn't make it worth more than a c-store ship, not when it comes to value for money. It's a good ship, but imagine if it was new and was being introduced into the game for the first time in this bundle, would you think it's a good value then? It's still a bundle with only a single t6 ship. The idea that it being a lockbox ship makes up for that is an artificial construct by Cryptic. They are only special and cost more because they come installed with a Dumbo's feather. Don't fall for it. [link] [comments]

Zen Store Prices (Flawed Logic?) Posted: 13 Jan 2020 12:32 PM PST This not meant to be a rant, and correct me if I am wrong, but I am seeing more and more Flawed Logic in Zen Store Pricing Model Today Cryptic is selling a Picard Bundle
Total value of ~11,750 Zen (currently 6000 Zen or 50% Off) *Denotes that this is was not a Zen Store Item based upon other like items. I am looking over what you get vs the prices you pay, and I can say the recent bundle and items (Mudd's Market included) are some of the worst pricing logic I have seen anywhere. The problem arises that some people (myself included) have most of the items in the bundle. Because there is no discount on items you may have already purchased (or I have never see any) The Discount price is more than if I paid full price for just the one item I am missing in the bundle. If the items in bold could be purchased then even at full price it would only cost 4550 Zen, assuming people have acquired the other items at some point. So yeah more people might actually purchase these bundles IF this pricing logic was fixed. There is stuff in Mudds Market that I want to get just to flush out some of my alts, but even with the 80% off I would still be paying more and getting less, and to tell Cryptic the truth I don't need them, they are nice the have, not requirements. Steam figured this out when purchasing game. If you buy a few games and then later buy a bundle that include those games you already purchased then the value is subtracted out of the total for the already paid for. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jan 2020 06:47 PM PST Their latest Tweet about Clear Skies and the USS Ross says the Ross is a ship we'll be able to fly soon. Anyone have a screengrab or anything? [link] [comments]
Even Picard would facepalm his Z special Posted: 14 Jan 2020 07:49 AM PST Just feel the need to write this out. 12k Zen but, wait? You say it's on sale for 6k Zen? Does it include say a T6 exploration cruiser, a Intel Sovereign cruiser? Ah, it does come with a already free choice, provided by actually leveling my character? Ah interesting a Dusty lock box ship, account wide!?! And the same, old, uniforms,.... Yeah facepalm. (Rant provided by frustration due to lack of a phoenix event. Seek relieve by venting thoughts via Reddit.) [link] [comments]

Server problems, lag, and rubberbanding Posted: 13 Jan 2020 11:37 AM PST I've done what a man can do. I've got the best hardware I can get, the best router, the best wireless adapter, the best computer. I've got good, consistent internet speeds, 80-100 mb/s every hour of the day. I've got the game running smoothly at maximum settings with no graphics-related stuttering or performance loss anywhere in the game, aside from the game's own graphical glitches. So, I ask you... WHY AM I STILL LAGGING?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Sometimes every minute, sometimes every ten god damn seconds, the game freezes, lags, and rubberbands me back a few meters. My abilities sometimes just go on cooldown but don't activate, sometimes half of my ability lineup just doesn't work because I happened to press something in the middle of a lag spike. I want to know what the hell is going on, and why it is so god damn difficult to simply play this god damn game without experiencing so much lag every hour of every day! EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention, not a single other game I play has these problems. Not. One. Everything from War Thunder to The Old Republic runs perfectly fine on my computer without anything like this happening. [link] [comments] |
