Give me some space combat items usable from inventory Posted: 11 Nov 2019 08:10 AM PST So I just picked up the delta item you can use from inventory and was wondering if there were other items that you can use from inventory without equipping them? Have way too many good devices and not enough device slots to use them. I know the ablative jevonite you can use from inventory. Any others that you could recommend? [link] [comments] | ||

And there is a whole other bunch of Duty Officer stuff, and I don't even think I have seen half of it. But joining a fleet adds a whole new element to the game. I wish I had done this ages ago. Boldy they rode is still broken. "Not talking about mission turn in" Posted: 10 Nov 2019 08:11 PM PST I've been running into this problem on pc for years and now ps4. Its the final battle in space. Once you kill the Jem Harar dreadnaught. The mission says finish the remaining jem hadar ships. Only after having flown up down left right 360 no scope, there are none. It used to be that one would McDoogle its way into ds9 and hide but you could still target and kill it. Can we please get a patch that allows the anomaly scanner to also double as an enemy vessel scanner to point us where the remaining ships are please? Edit: Discovered a fix. IF YOU KILL the dreadnaught before the enterprise can arrive, the enterprise will remain on the edge of the system. Will not trigger a cutscene. Wait until servers reset and kill everything but dreadnaught and it should work. Guess we are on our own with these vintage missions. [link] [comments] | ||

Took the dive, got back into the game. Now I’m confused by story/episode order/progress. Posted: 10 Nov 2019 05:58 PM PST I took the advice from a previous post I made STO work on my laptop. Now I'm in and trying to sort out getting caught up on episodes, however I find the majority of them are unavailable to me? Some background, character is science officer Vice Admiral. Full episode available to me: Klingon war, Romulan Mystery, Cardassian Struggle, and J'Ula's Discovery. Of the Klingon war I only have the task force operation remaining. The task force operations are the only thing left for the Romulan Mystery and Cardassian Struggle as well. All other missions in above have replay options so i know they're complete. In J'Ulas, I have the third mission "beneath the skin" only open for skip/hail, that's it. Unavailable to me: Borg, new Romulus, Dustin, Delta, iconian, yesterday, future, frontiers, gamma, and Age of Disco. My question is what do i need to do to open other story arcs? Do i NEED to do the task force ops in all three above arcs? Can i skip them and start on J'Ula? Advice much appreciated. [link] [comments] | ||

Space Weapon cooldown timers... wrong? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 12:12 PM PST I've been noticing that the cooldown timers on my space weapons (all, torps/beams/cannons/experimental) don't usually make sense. I'll see a torpedo with a cooldown of 8 seconds, after firing, show a cooldown of 20 seconds... but then fire when it hits 12 seconds. Sometimes it won't fire until later. I'm suspecting that autofire isn't hitting as often as it should (probably because of the hotkey spam for abilities)? But I have no idea what's going on with the timers, and it makes it hard for me to tell if I accidentally toggled off autofire (which happens sometimes). I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed anything like this. I haven't noticed it in particular on the ground (though I have some issues with fire consistency on the ground as well). Now I'm getting this error after upgrading my BOFFs (In the stations window). What is the point of all of these upgrades if I can't use them? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 10 Nov 2019 06:19 PM PST I'm guessing (as somebody who's never used the Dilithium Exchange) that the "minimum values" (1 Zen / 25 Dilithium) are absolutely not the actual exchange rate and that, like any other F2P game, the economy as massively screwed? I'm just tryna have a good time without actually wasting my money on a F2P game. I just want cool uniforms and whatnot without having to blow my money on 'em. [link] [comments] |
