    Weird Ground Weapons?

    I'm looking for recommendations on weird ground weapons. I now have the Martian mining laser that does fire damage, and I'm looking for other non standard ground weapons for my team that do weird damage types, or are just odd in other ways.

    [VENT] Advanced Light Cruiser

    Is there any explanation as to why all the other light cruisers (the basic FED, the Qeh'Pu and the Deleth) can equip dual cannons, but the FED advanced light cruiser can't? This seems like a oversight - given that all the other ones can...?

    Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel

    How do I reclaim it from the event store? I've got on events, then reclaim rewards and gone to ships but it's greyed out. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is it an unclaimable ship once earned years ago?

    And I only have one active ship and one shuttle so I have space for it. It has the same generic reasoning saying I have to have complete the 2017 anniversary rewards.

    There is a big hole in the neck area of the counter command exo armor costume. The only way to hide it is to use the collar or have a giraffe like long neck

    Ship Console Icons.

    So, the little icons that represent the consoles clearly represent the technology in use.
    For example, the mycelium ambush obviously represents a spore cannister. Likewise, the mining drill laser clearly represents the boom/platform from the Narada.

    My (fun?) little question is: How many more of the icons can we identify as actual things from Trek canon?

    The Ominous device is like the Fesarius probe from the Corbomite epsiode.

    Any more?

    Unknown entity in ker'rat

    Hi, gamers. On console here, xbox. Been working on some pvp builds, was doing well with a team in ker'rat, for once it was almost even numbers. Then some people called in their armada and overwhelmed us (not the problem, it happens), but looking at the damage log, a good chunk of the damage came from 'an unknown entity' rather than a player name. Any idea what this means?

    Reinstalled game, forgot to back up screenshots folder...

    I'm assuming I'm boned here, yes?

    When the game began having issues loading a month ago, and verifying files, rolling back drivers, all that didn't work, I uninstalled/reinstalled. I only just now realized I did not back up my screenshots folder (I'd been fighting with the problem for days, and was so frustrated it never even entered my mind).

    Everything's gone, right? Most games wouldn't overwrite that kind of local stuff, but of course, this one did. And a lot of shots from removed missions are gone. :(

    Tips on getting into, and enjoying STO?

    Been into star trek since the mid 90s; and I watch a couple of episodes a day of whichever series on. But for the life of me, I've had a terrible time trying to get into this game. Probably 4 failed attempts so far. I've tried different races and factions, but I just can't get it to click. Would love to run through each faction story at least once, but first I need to find a way to keep myself engaged long enough to not uninstall after an hour.

    Delta recruit event question, do I need multiple delta recruits?

    I was told I need a delta recruit in each faction to get all delta recruit rewards, is this true? Would I miss out on any notable/unique account unlock delta recruit rewards if I don't make a character in each faction?

    So I heard the Glenn is one of the best science shops while stil being discovery esque. I am a free to play player and am currently completing all the events towards the promo choice pack an prize pack. Can you get the glenn without buying the 12000 zen bundle?

    Missed opportunity with the Fe'h... the Fehk',','... the klingon demons...

    You could go really nuts with the AI packages of the "Lost Souls of Gre'thor".

    These are lost souls. Some, or as it turns out most of them because circumstances bit them in the ass. There are klingons who would gladly charge into any battle as a klingon apparently should.

    But there are some absolute cowards there as well. The Barge of the Dead is like the blind Hen finding the corn. Some of those who are to join the dishonored dead actually brought dishonor upon them.

    These souls have wildly differenty backgrounds and might act in all sorts of ways. Might charge into battle or run away. Cryptic has an opportunity to sell server time for people who want to fine tune AI packages and really evaluate chances of rare chance events in the routine.

    If some one in a million event occurs and the AI acts in unexpected ways the player would've encountered one of the lost souls who where in gre'thor for a reason...
