Don't try and give the new MACO Pistol to a BOFF... Posted: 03 Nov 2020 03:50 PM PST I splurged and bought the MACO weapons from the Lobi store, love the rifle. Pistol seems neat. Decided to be nice and gave the pistol to my EMH. Moron over here, engages every combat by overloading and kicking his pistol 5m in front of him, hitting nothing, closest enemies at least 25m away. Then he sits there like its my fault he has no gun. Last enemy just died and we're still in combat? Better kick this gun on cooldown. Boss just shot the Gorn waaaaay up on the cliff huckin rocks at us? Better kick my pistol for good measure. I'm equal parts furious and amused. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 04 Nov 2020 10:25 AM PST About 2 weeks ago I had completed the Phoenix Prize pack mission a couple of times, but before the event was over Grym and Onna vanished from my game. The support people just said they do that after the event. However, the event wasn't over yet, and I thought Grym and Onna were now permanent even after the event. Do they now disappear between events, does anyone else have this? Stuff like this is why nobody trusts Ferengi. [link] [comments] | ||

Factions for the ENT(such as ENT Starfleet) era and Kelvin Timeline(such as Kelvin Starfleet) and androids and augments as playable races(after all, Bashir is an augment, and he was a Starfleet officer, and Data, as an Android, was also a Starfleet officer). Hop over to regular skills, it tells me they're invalid. I'd also previously noted that some of my traits got unequipped, which, I initially chalked up to just this game being like that sometimes, as it's not the first time this kind of thing has happened to me. Posted: 03 Nov 2020 10:10 PM PST I've set aside some funds for the upcoming Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale and I'll be narrowing down my list based on what the discounts look like. Here's what's on it for now: Cardassian Intel Bundle: I have a mean itch to make a Cardassian Captain with a carrier or dreadnought loaded with Jem'Hadar pets. Nebula Bundle: I've been thinking of dipping my toes into science vessels, and this one tickles my pickle coming from my background with cruisers. I'm not fond of "space magic" builds, personally, but I find the idea of a drain build or a shield restoration build intriguing. Legendary Romulan Captain Bundle (if more than half-off): I think this could become the main ship for my Romulan character. I'd rather be flying a really good D'deridex, but that's not in the cards for now. How good/fun is the Romulan Enhanced Battle Cloak? How well does an EBC ship work as an Intel ship? Seems like that's not a particularly great pairing, but maybe I'm missing something. I also have concerns for how that Mastery 6 trait interacts with the EBC. I hear it's not so great. Event Buyouts: I came back to the game a couple of months ago, so I missed out on the campaign ... but 1,000 lobi seems like a good deal if these buyouts get a nice discount. Need some help with some generic upgrading and R&D guidelines Posted: 03 Nov 2020 12:03 PM PST So I've played this game for a long time, and have completely ignored upgrading and mostly ignored the R&D leveling because I never thought to craft weapons and gear because stuff some rep projects were much better. But I know now the damage increase from MkXV gear is definitely worth it, so it's going to be my focus going forward. What works better, upgrading a single weapon at a time to XV before moving to the next, or moving them all up one level. Say, upgrade al weapons to XIII before moving onto upgrading any to XIV. Also, when leveling up the various R&D categories to 15, do you get more XP from doing the small tasks or do most people just set the 6k XP task that takes 20 hours to complete until you hit 15? I've tried looking up this information, and while I'm sure someone, somewhere mentions these exact details, I couldn't happen to come across it. Thanks in advance for the help. [link] [comments] | ||
Having trouble with getting destroyed to easily. Posted: 03 Nov 2020 04:47 PM PST So im new to the game and i have been experimenting with different ships and builds at least as much as i can. I just made captain (im a klingon) and had decent success with a dual heavy cannon armed raptor but i have had a great deal of trouble aiming them properly which led to be getting plastered while doing patrol or task force missions. I tried using beams but the damage seems ridiculously low. I tried a raider but it just seems i have too litte armor to fight up close and when i try to cloak and run away they just chase me anyway (i bet the starfleet captains on the shows wished it was that easy) MY latest experiment was purchasing a vorcha cruiser and loading with disruptor turrets the damage is ok but it drains my weapon power to nothing so i think thats out. What i want to know is if There is some fundamental flaw in the way I am approaching the game because no matter what when i go on patrol or task force i get destroyed an have to respawn at least three or four times or is this just part of being a low level player?
